The Moscow metro is growing and developing, trying to keep up with the rapidly expanding metropolis. Several stations are opened annually, existing branches are extended and new ones laid, and additional transfer circuits are created. In this regard, we decided to make the subject of this conversation a project that is currently under construction. It will be about the metro station "Lukhmanovskaya".
General summary
The object of our attention is the station that has not yet been opened on the Kozhukhovskaya line, which is not yet on the map of the Moscow metro. This branch will pass through the HLW and SEAD of Moscow, going down to the city of Lyubertsy. It will include a number of stations (from the center to the end of the line), such as:
- "Nizhny Novgorod";
- "Stakhanovskaya";
- "Okskaya street";
- "Southeast";
- Kosino
- "Dmitrievsky St.";
- "Lukhmanovskaya";
- "Nekrasovka."
The line is planned to be connected by interchange stations with the third interchange circuit under construction (Nizhny Novgorod) and the MCC, as well as with the purple branch (Kosino - Lermontovsky Prospekt). The section of the route will be called Kosino-Nekrasovka.
After we recognized the “neighbors” of the heroine of our story, we will return to the metro station “Lukhmanovskaya”. Prior to this final name, she managed to change several design:
- "Cascading";
- "Lyubertsy";
- "Kosino-Ukhtomskaya";
- "Kozhukhovo."
Imagine a brief summary of it:
- Geographically located in the Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow (Kosino-Ukhtomsky District), near Lyubertsy.
- Shallow station, three-span, columned.
- Will have one island platform.
- The planned opening is May 2018.
Location of the completed project
As we have already noted, the metro station "Lukhmanovskaya" is being built in Kosino-Ukhtomsky district, not far from Krasnaya Gorka, Kozhukhovo. It is planned to make the following exits from it:
- Street Dmitrievsky.
- Street Lukhmanovskaya.
- The future highway Moscow - N. Novgorod - Kazan.
- Residential areas near Moscow Lyubertsy.
Ground transport routes will be integrated with the station. Moreover, in 2021 it is planned to organize a large-scale interchange hub here, which will include a bus station, parking lots for l / a (including intercepting ones), shopping centers, apartments, and a business complex.
How could it be ...
The path to the project, which was embodied in the construction of the Kozhukhovskaya line (by the way, it is planned to make it pink on the future metro map) and the Lukhmanovskaya metro station as part of it, have been started a long time ago. Let's get acquainted with its main milestones.
Initially, the "Lukhmanovskaya" with the design name "Kozhukhovo" was planned as a component of the Kalinin-Solntsevo (yellow) branch. In March 2009, D. Gaev (head of the Moscow Metro) told the press that it would be built along the yellow line in order to relieve traffic jams.
It is no secret that the inhabitants of aeration fields, northern regions of Lyubertsy, were waiting for the new station. In addition, its opening is very favorable for the city’s “subway” system - unloading the Vykhino – Ryazan Avenue section.
In 2010, the project of the metro station “Lukhmanovskaya” was renamed “Kosino-Ukhtomskaya” (a very interesting name was also proposed - “Cascade.” But already at the beginning of 2011, the conclusion was made that the extension of the Kalinin branch and all plans for the construction of the “Rudnevo” - “ Kozhukhovo "-" Novokosino "were canceled.
The origin of a new concept
This did not end there. Instead of the canceled projects, it was decided to develop another section of the route: Aviamotornaya - Lermontovsky Ave. - "Fields Lyubertsy". According to initial plans, the construction of a line through the Kozhukhovo district, as well as the opening of the Luhmanovskaya metro station, will help residents of adjacent areas get quick access to Aviamotornaya and even Elektrozavodskaya.
Then they still planned to open Kosino-Ukhtomskaya in the last quarter of 2014. However, later the city authorities announced the postponement of the solemn date to the 2015th, 2016th. Today, this is the end of spring 2018.
Construction progress
Let's look at the main stages of creating a new station:
- November 2012 - the site for the construction site is marked.
- May 29, 2014 - the beginning of tunneling of the right transitional tunnel in the section "Lyubertskaya" - "Nekrasovka" with a length of 1383 m. In December of the same year, work was completed.
- The end of 2014 - laying of the left tunnel. In April 2015, it was completed.
- Spring 2015 - development of the foundation pit of the station.
- October 2017 - interior decoration, lighting installation.
About the station name
Moscow metro station "Lukhmanovskaya" officially received its real name in accordance with the decree of S. Sobyanin, signed on February 3, 2015.
Why such a name? Lukhmanovskaya is one of the streets that can be reached from this metro stop. And it is named after D. A. Lukhmanov. It was to him in 1812 that the village of Kosino was granted then, in the restoration of which, after the atrocities of the Napoleonic army, he invested a lot of personal funds.
Design features
We learned about the location of the metro station "Lukhmanovskaya", the history of construction, the opening date. In conclusion, let's talk about design. The design of the station is planned to be done in a high-tech style - mirror tiles, unusual lamps, an abstract pattern. The primary colors, according to preliminary plans, are green, black, white, gray.
Underground lobbies and elevators are also planned for people with limited mobility. But how everything will be in the final version, residents of the surrounding areas, and just Muscovites and guests of the capital will learn relatively soon.
Station "Lukhmanovskaya" - one of the most important and long-awaited Muscovites and Lyubertsy. Like the entire Kozhukhovskaya line under construction. It is also needed throughout the metro system - to facilitate the violet line, which is extremely busy at peak hours, especially the Vykhino station.
