Ziyavudin Magomedov was born in 1968 in Makhachkala. His parents were from an Avar intelligent family. Father worked as a surgeon, and mother as a teacher. Through the Slavia-controlled enterprise, Magomedov redeems a controlling stake in Yakutgazprom. The entrepreneur is working on the creation of the Dialog program, whose direct manager he remained from 2002 to 2004.

On March 31, 2018, sensational news appeared in the media about the arrest of Ziyavudin Magomedov. It turned out that he was accused of organizing a criminal community and the theft of two and a half billion rubles. The decision to select a preventive measure for both brothers was made by the Tver court of the Russian capital. Magomed and Ziyavudin were decided to be detained during the investigation.
In the announcement of the decision in the case of Ziyavudin Magomedov, the judge noted that the hero of our article is a suspect in a particularly serious crime, he faces a sentence of imprisonment for a term of more than ten years in prison.
