Swimming standards determine the level of swimmers: both beginners and professionals. The categories that are distinguished in the All-Russian Swimming Federation: from III to I youthful, from III to I adult, candidate for master of sports of Russia (CCM), master of sports of Russia (MS), master of sports of international class of Russia (MSMK). Implementation of the CCM is possible from 10 years, the MS - from 12, and the MSMK - from 14 years.
Where to find the time required to meet the standard?
Discharges on swimming change every three years. Changes depend on how many people have complied with this standard, what records in world sports have been broken by athletes. Why are the discharges different in pools with different lengths?

Ranks 2014-2017

For three years, many records were set at the European and World Championships, the Olympics. All this affected the ranks established in 2018.
Standards 2018-2021
The new regulations will apply exactly as much as the old ones. They especially changed in those swimming styles where new records were set or the discharge was performed by many swimmers. However, do not worry: the change in discharges on average does not exceed 0.5 seconds per hundred meters. But it became more difficult to complete the first adult and CCM.
