Despite the fact that the Android operating system, as a derivative of Linux, is considered quite stable and reliable, it is still not immune from all kinds of failures and errors. But most often these errors occur due to external factors that are not related to the operation of the OS itself. Malfunctions of the device hardware (regardless of the reasons for their appearance) caused by interruptions in the Internet, incorrect download of updates or erroneous actions of the users themselves - all this can directly or indirectly affect the performance of the gadget.
In such cases, the owners of Android devices when they turn on can see not the expected logo of the operating system and its subsequent launch, but a notification from Android System Recovery: "There is no command." What to do when using a gadget is not possible? After all, a smartphone or tablet no longer manifests itself, turning into a so-called brick.
Android OS "No Command" message. What to do?
If this inscription appears when you start the gadget, but you did not perform any manipulations with the device before it appeared (meaning updating the operating system, changing firmware or obtaining superuser rights), and it was operated in normal mode, you can try several ways. These include: removing the battery, rebooting, checking the memory card and contact group of each of the SIM cards.
Battery removal
A significant part of the devices currently in the hands of users is equipped with a classic removable battery. Removing it will not be difficult, especially for owners of some old Android smartphones, the compartments of SIM cards and memory cards which can be located just under the battery. They probably performed this procedure more than once.
And if the device does not support changing the battery under normal conditions, and its owner is faced with the Android System “No Command” message, what should I do then? You will have to either refuse this method, or, having found a specific gadget scheme on the Internet, or after watching a video, try to dismantle the battery yourself.
Alas, not every device can be parsed “on the knee”, and not all users have the skills to even take a simple disassembly of compact equipment. For this majority of users, this option is not at all suitable.
Device reboot
If you cannot remove the battery, you can try to restart the device by holding the external power button. Depending on the brand and model of a particular gadget, this button can be located either on the side or on the upper side of the smartphone or tablet. To reset the power circuit, just hold the button for ten seconds, then release it, and after a short period of time press it again, as with normal power-up. If there are no problems on the technical side (in hardware), the chance of resuming normal operation of the device is quite large.
Regardless of the method used, the device must be kept off for several minutes, then insert the battery back and try to turn on the device. If everything is in order with the electronics of the gadget, a power reset most often helps, and the smartphone is likely to boot in operating mode.
Checking the memory card and SIM card
There may be situations in which the faulty memory card becomes the culprit of the message “No command” from Android. What to do with this? You should remove the microSD from your smartphone or tablet and try to start the device without a card. A similar situation (albeit quite rare) is with SIM cards: perhaps the problem lies precisely in the poor contact of the sim working area with the terminals of the gadget, which is especially often manifested when using modular SIM cards.
Full reset
