Raspberry wine, the recipe of which will be discussed below, has a rather pronounced aroma, as well as a rich color. In the process of aging such an alcoholic beverage, it is well clarified and becomes suitable for consumption in the same year that it was made.
Dessert or liquor weak drinks are usually made from this tasty and juicy berry. Dry raspberry wine, whose recipe is pretty simple, has slightly worse characteristics, in contrast to its sweet counterpart. In this regard, light dessert drinks, which differ in their special aroma and taste, are most often made from such juicy fruits.
Before showing you a detailed recipe for raspberry wine, it should be noted that for this alcoholic drink you need to use only red-fruited varieties of berries. After all, yellow and white raspberries are not suitable for winemaking. In addition, such a fragrant wine should be made only from ripe berries, which, without any effort, are separated from the pedicels.
Raspberry wine: an alcoholic beverage recipe
Essential Ingredients:
- filtered drinking water - 4 l;
- ripe red raspberries - 4 kg;
- granulated sugar - 1.3 kg.
The process of processing the main ingredient
Raspberry wine, the recipe of which we will consider in this article, should be made only from freshly picked fruits. It is worth noting that if you picked the berries in advance, it is better to sort them out immediately (in no case do not wash them) and store them in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.
Thus, raspberries should be crushed with a stupa, and then squeeze the juice from the resulting mass. It is allowed to mix with the juice of other fresh berries. However, we will not do this, as we are creating a pure alcoholic drink from raspberries.
How to make raspberry wine
Squeezed raspberry juice should be placed in a ten-liter glass container. After this, pour 4 liters of filtered (possibly spring) water into a clean pan, which you need to boil. Next, pour 1.3 kg of granulated sugar into the hot liquid, after which it is advisable to boil the syrup for another 8-10 minutes. After time, the sweet broth must be removed from the stove and cool to room temperature. After this, the syrup must be poured into a fermentation glass container, where freshly squeezed raspberry juice was previously placed.
Dishes with future wine must be closed with a hydraulic stopper. If you do not use such a special lid and leave the container with an open neck, then instead of an alcoholic drink you will most likely get raspberry vinegar.
Juice fermentation should last 3-5 days. After this, the wine must be poured into another container, leaving the sediment at the bottom, and kept warm for another 2-3 days. Further, the dishes must be placed in a cool room for 1-2 months. Then the young wine should be poured into clean liter bottles, corked and put in the cellar, and horizontally. You can use such an alcoholic drink in the year of manufacture, that is, without much aging.
