Anything has happened in the history of Russia. It is not surprising that contemporaries are well acquainted with prison life: from the stories of relatives and friends, from textbooks and fiction. One of the most terrifying words related to restriction of liberty is “punishment cell”. They are frightened by convicts and frightened by negligent students, painting in their colors a bleak future if they are lazy or engage in illegal activities. But how really?
