Russian footballer Arseniy Logashov, once considered one of the most promising defenders, has not appeared on the field for a long time in the Moscow “Locomotive”. The lack of playing practice does not suit a young player who plans to find himself a new team already during the current winter break in the championship.

Arseny Logashov began to take the first steps to professional football at the age of 6, studying in the sports sections of his native schools in Kursk. During the development of the young defender, many experts noted the incredible talent of the player, and at 16, the football player decided to try to conquer Moscow, where he played for the youth team of the “Academician”. For a couple of years Logashov managed to prove himself in the Moscow team and attracted attention from a number of professional teams, including Khimki near Moscow, with whom the defender signed a contract in January 2009.
From Moscow to Makhachkala
The first six months, Arseny Logashov played for the youth team of “Khimki” and only in the summer began to fall into the application for the team’s games in the Premier League. The debut of the young player in the main championship of the country took place on September 18 of the same year: the defender came on as a substitute for a few minutes in a match lost by Khimki against Spartak from Nalchik. Soon after, a new head coach came to the team, who entrusted Logashov with playing the season at the base, releasing the player 5 more times on the field.
However, the strip of failures of the Moscow Region club sent Khimki to the First Division, where under the leadership of Alexander Tarkhanov and his followers Arseny began to play in a new way. In his second season, for the first professional club in his career, the Russian appeared on the field 20 times, after which he consolidated his success by appearing in 17 meetings in the championship 2010/2011. As a result, the talent of a promising defender was appreciated by Makhachkala “Anji”, which acquired Logashov, immediately sending him a lease to Voronezh “Fakel”.
Success at Anji
After playing another six months in the FNL, Arseny Logashov returned to “Anji” a real fighter and quickly enough became the basis of the team. As part of the foundation of the Makhachkala club, the defender made his debut in March 2012. As part of the match of the championship of Russia against the capital “Spartak” Arseny played all 90 minutes.
Under the leadership of Guus Hiddink, who trusted the player, Arseny Logashov became an indispensable footballer, regularly appeared on the field in the Premier League and the Europa League. The vast experience of the defender, including international, seriously increased his value in the transfer market, and also expanded the list of teams that were interested in him. And in the summer of 2013, due to a change in the development course of Anji, Logashov was quickly able to find a new team.
Rent in Rostov
The new club Arseny was Moscow “Locomotive”, which immediately sent the player on an annual lease to “Rostov”. For Rostovites, Logashov spent a successful segment in his career, scoring his first goal in the Premier League, scoring against Ural, and also noting the first scoring pass, thanks to which the Rostov club pulled out a draw from the former Anzhi defender club. In total for the season Arseny spent 26 matches in a Rostov T-shirt, but in the final round in a meeting with Tomyu the defender was injured, with which he returned to Lokomotiv.
Fighting for a spot at the heart of Lokomotiv
In his official club, Arseniy Logashov, whose injury was very serious (it took the player more than a year to recover), began to play only in early 2015. Having gained a good shape, the Russian won a place at the base and held 10 meetings in the 2014/2015 season.
However, in the next championship, Logashov spent most of the time on the bench. The arrival in 2016 to the post of head coach of the legendary Yuri Semin did not change the player’s position, only worsened him. As a result, in the season 2016/2017 Arseny never appeared on the field. He left for the winter break with the club, seriously thinking about the search for a new team, remaining at the training camp with the youth team of “Locomotive”.
