How to drink 'Martini'

“Martini” refers to alcoholic beverages and is a brand of vermouth made in Italy. Three types of it are most popular: “Martini-Bianco” (white, with spices and vanilla aroma), “Martini-Rosso” (red caramel color with a slightly bitter taste), “Martini-Rose” (pink, with spices, white and red wine in the composition).

It should be noted that the composition of any type of "Martini" includes dry wine and many herbs. This drink is considered the most famous of alcohol.

There are several options for drinking martini. However, before telling about them, some rules should be mentioned.

Firstly, you need a special glass. Its traditional shape resembles an inverted cone, which is located on a high leg. This glass, however, is very often used for martini-based cocktails. In its pure form, Vermouth is more commonly drunk from small square glasses.

Secondly, regardless of whether a straw is present in the glass or not, you need to drink “Martini” in small slow sips, savoring it. In no case should you drink in one gulp. Not only does Martini have a certain strength (especially in combination with some ingredients), it is not intended to get drunk. “Martini” refers to noble drinks and can act very beneficially, relieve stress and allow you to relax.

Thirdly, Martini is served chilled. If suddenly there is no possibility to cool the drink (or time), add ice to the glass. If there is no ice, it can be replaced with frozen strawberries. At the same time, Martini will not only become chilled, but also acquire a light strawberry flavor.

Here, in general, and all the basic rules. And now about how to drink Martini.

It can be consumed in pure, diluted form or as part of cocktails. It should be noted that one of the classic methods is the use of "Martini" diluted with water. However, as a rule, it is diluted with juice or more strong drinks, contributing to an increase in degree. Understanding how to drink Martini is, in principle, not difficult.

Separately, it should be said about the "Martini Extra Dry." “Dry Martini” is an alcoholic drink belonging to the elite class. It has a very spicy taste and persistent spicy aroma, which is very different from other types of "Martini". It is produced using dry wine, and its strength is greater than the strength of traditional popular species. At first, Martini-Extra Dry was conceived to create some kind of competition for dry vermouths of French origin, which were quite common at that time. Trial copies immediately won the favor of many connoisseurs. In the aroma of this drink you can clearly feel the aroma of raspberries, lemon and many other subtle subtlest shades. The recipe for Martini Extra Dry is, of course, not to be publicized and kept in the strictest confidence. There is, meanwhile, the opinion that about forty different ingredients are used for its production. Many people know how to drink “Martini-Extra Dry” in order to feel the fullness of its taste. It is known that olives are perfectly suitable for this drink (as, incidentally, for other types of Martini). They can be laid on the bottom of the glass or strung on a skewer.

As for the question of what Martini can drink with, there are plenty of options. As already mentioned, the drink can be diluted. As a rule, water, juice, gin, vodka or tonic is suitable for these purposes. When used in pure undiluted form, add olives, lemon, strawberries or ice. Martini with a slice of onion acquires a very original taste. You need to throw it in a glass and pour a drink. A rather extraordinary supplement is lemonade or Coca-Cola. Crackers, salted nuts or hard cheese can be used as snacks.
