Alexey Kozlov is a football player and player of the Russian national team. He acts as a defender and midfielder in various clubs of the Russian Premier League and First Division.

Return to Russia

He came to the team in the middle of the season, but managed to spend 13 matches, becoming one of the main players in the defense. “Kuban” that season triumphantly. Won 24 victories in 38 matches and won first place, moving to the Premier League.
On March 13, Alexey Viktorovich Kozlov made his debut in the Premier League. The footballer entered the field in the first round in a home game with Kazan “Ruby”, which he had previously seriously interested in. The guests then won 2-0.

For “Kuban” Kozlov spent 91 matches, speaking for the team until 2013. Over the next two seasons, Kozlov took 5th and 8th places with the team, respectively. He played for Krasnodar in European competition. Kuban went through two qualifying rounds, knocking out the Scottish “Motherwell” (2: 0, 1: 0) and the Dutch “Feyenoord” (1: 0, 2: 1) from the Europa League.
It was not possible to leave the Kuban group, having gained only one victory, the Krasnodar team lost to the Spanish “Valencia” and the English “Swansea”.

In the national team
Since 2008, Kozlov began to be involved in the youth team of Russia. In 2011, he made his debut as part of the second national team in a match with the Olympic team of Belarus. Today this team does not exist, its function was to view potential players for the national team.
