Kalinichenko Maxim: biography of a football player

Kalinichenko Maxim was born on January 26, 1979 in the Ukrainian city of Kharkov. Role of the game - attacking midfielder, known as the master of standard positions. When the player turned seventeen, he managed to establish himself well in the junior championship of Ukraine. Once at a game in Kryvyi Rih, he was noticed by the Dnipro coach Vyacheslav Grozny and invited him to his team. So Maxim became a player of the Dnieper, in the main team of which was entrenched in the first year.

After some time, Vyacheslav the Terrible quarreled with the leadership of his team and left it. He was offered to go to Spartak Moscow, which he did, taking Maxim with him to Russia. Thus, twenty-one-year-old Kalinichenko Maxim Sergeyevich ended up as part of the then champion of Russia.

Kalinichenko and Titov are two players of the old team who remained in the club during his crisis, which matured in the early 2000s. In a later Spartak (model 2006-2007) Maxim spent more time on the bench, sometimes leaving for a replacement. However, his appearance on the field was useful for the team, as he periodically scored free kicks and showed a good game.

In 2006, he scored a goal for the national team in one of the friendlies. He also scored two goals at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, scoring them in Saudi Arabia. Kalinichenko Maxim was later recognized as the best football player of this match.

In 2008, the Spartak coach transferred Maxim to the backup team. After some time, it was officially announced that the club does not need its services, and the coach recommended that the player find another team.

Maxim’s agent German Tkachenko found a good option, and already in August 2008 Kalinichenko joined the Ukrainian Dnepr. He played in this team until 2011, then he was transferred to the double and offered to look for another club. But Maxim Kalinichenko decided to stay at Dnipro until his contract expired. He left the team on June 1, 2011.

He did not go around for a long time and already two weeks later, on the fifteenth of June 2011, signed a new contract with another Ukrainian club - Tavria. In this team, he played in the main team for several more years, and at the end of 2014 he officially ended his football career.

From his hobbies, one can single out a passion for black Mercedes cars. Maxim collected them for several years, having bought the first Mercedes in the early years of his game for Spartak. His favorite dish is roast duck, prepared according to the signature recipe of Tatyana’s wife. From drinks, he prefers beer, which he can already afford, since he graduated from a sports career and it is not necessary to observe the regime. From music prefers to listen to rock. Favorite football teams: Moscow “Spartak”, Kiev “Dynamo” and Madrid “Real”.

Maxim Kalinichenko is a football player who played forty-four matches for his country's national team. He scored seven goals during this time. The main achievement in his sports career is the national team reached the quarter finals of the 2006 World Cup.
