Location
The village of Vostochny (Moscow) is located at a distance of three kilometers from the Shchelkovsky highway. Five kilometers need to be overcome in order to get to the Shchelkovskaya metro station.

In 1961, the name of the settlement changed to Vostochny. They also reassigned the district to the district council, which is in charge of Moscow. The eastern village is also controlled by the district government and local authorities. Ten deputies previously worked in the municipality, but now it’s one less, because in 2012 one of them refused his powers.

In these places there are no special excesses, however, there is almost everything necessary for a comfortable life. It is worth noting that some citizens even travel from neighboring villages to get to a polyclinic or kindergarten, because they have worse things with social facilities.
In winter, snow is cleaned fairly quickly here. In each courtyard there are playgrounds for children to play, there are great opportunities for sports.
