How to disable the keyboard?

So let's see how to disable the keyboard on a laptop. For each laptop, the keyboard is connected to the main (motherboard) board using a special cable. You don’t have to look for it for a long time. To turn off the keyboard, open the case of your equipment, then pull out the cable. It is important to know that you should be very careful not to break your laptop. Get together and do everything calmly without making sudden movements. So you do not harm the motherboard or processor.
How to lock the keyboard?
Now you know how to disable the keyboard on a laptop. But it happens that such radical actions are not required. Sometimes just locking the keyboard is enough. It is interesting to know how this can be done? It's also simple, just remember that such a lock will work until your laptop reboots. At the bottom of the left corner of the screen, as you know, there is a large button, which is called the "Start". Click it, then find “All Programs”, click on the “Standard” item there, then you need to select the icon next to which “Command line” is written. A window opens in which enter the command of the following form: "rundll32 keyboard, disable". This will lock the keyboard on the laptop.
There is an opportunity to make everything even easier: in the Run window, available immediately when you click on Start, enter the same command.

Mute
You can still mute your keyboard. This is done with a couple of mouse clicks. Click "Start", then "Control Panel". Then select “Sound”, there, find the “Sounds” tab, where in the “Sound scheme” window, put “No sound”, then click “OK”. After these steps, you will be spared the keyboard sounds.
To unlock the keypad, press a key combination that may be different for certain PC models. Standard combinations are:
- Fn + F7.
- Fn + F12.
- Win + Fx (x is a number from 1-12).
- Fn + Pause.
