Advertising calls it the most civilized container in the modern world. It is well disposed of and is one hundred percent environmentally friendly. But do not rush to throw it in the trash - let's better talk about how an aluminum can can be useful in everyday life.
For any home master and just a creative person, an empty beer or soda can is a valuable raw material. It is only necessary to remove unnecessary details, determine the form - and the widest possibilities will open up in the use of containers. This is especially true of the aluminum base - a sheet of durable foil, which can be obtained by cutting the bottom and top from the can, and then expanding the middle. But we will be interested in the bank, first of all, as a metal container, which means strong and durable.
The ability to store different products and small things gives us an aluminum can, if you cut off its top cover. It is convenient to do this with a can opener that rolls up an uneven edge. So you will not cut yourself with the improvement of the banks, nor with its further operation.
Now about where you can apply the resulting capacity. Yes, anywhere: it is an excellent container for cosmetics, stationery, bulk products, sewing supplies, little things for a rainy day, all kinds of nut bolts and so on. But there are several more original options.
An aluminum can is an excellent basis for a beautiful and simple lamp, which can be done in a couple of minutes. Moreover, the construction is useful not only at home, but also in nature, romantic gatherings or in a noisy friendly company. To make such a lamp, you will need an aluminum can with a cut out lid, a needle or awl and an ordinary paraffin candle. With an awl, you need to pierce holes in the bank (placing them in the form of a certain inscription, drawing, or even some kind of constellation). When you then put the candle inside, you get a very beautiful lamp. If you intend to use it outdoors, first lighten up lightweight aluminum containers by sprinkling small pebbles or sand inside.
And you can make an original and
humane mousetrap. In one jar, cut out the top, and also take the bottom of another of the same jar. Its diameter should be less than the cut hole. We place this “cap” so that it opens only inside the can and fix it. We put some fragrant bait in the jar and leave it near the mouse mink. When the rodent wants to feast on itself and crawls in, it will no longer be able to get out of the mousetrap, because the lid does not open out.
On the farm, an aluminum can can serve as a section of a fairly strong pipe. Cutting the bottom and top, and docking several cans (they connect perfectly), we achieve the desired length of the pipe. And you can fasten the resulting structure with anything, even with ordinary adhesive tape. Although a special sealant will make the pipe also impermeable.
So, if an aluminum can is littered in your house, do not rush to flatten it and throw it in the bin!
