This magnificent forest park near Moscow is located on the territory of the Kuchinsky district forestry (Noginsk forestry). Until 2009, he was a member of the Balashikhinsky special forestry enterprise, and today it is the Noginsk branch of the Mosoblles State Public Institution.

Administratively, this place is located north of Zheleznodorozhny, south of Balashikha and in the north-east direction from Kuchino station. Year of creation - 1935, the area of ​​the territory is 2020 ha.

The forest park got its name from the former wasteland Kuchino. The rivers Gorenka, Pekhorka, Chernaya and Chernavka with their numerous tributaries flow here. There are ponds and lakes in the protected area. Most of the Kuchinsky Forest Park is a nature reserve. Geographically, it is located on the territory of the Meshchera Lowland.

Ecological paths and alleys are currently created in the park: Central (through the forest), Lateral, Kosaya, Naberezhnaya, Gas Pipeline, East Solnechnaya, Svobody, Central Cross (or Library), General, Cilia and Crossroads. All alleys are unpaved, except for the central one. Today, the issue of building an Orthodox church in the park area is being considered.

Among the vegetation of the Kuchinsky forest park, coniferous trees - pine and spruce dominate. Linden and birch also grow here. This is a unique century-old forest. You can also find here very rare species of grassy vegetation for the Moscow flora: May lily of the valley, European swimsuit, lingonberry, cranberry, forest forget-me-not.

This is the place where wild boars, elks, hares, squirrels, weasels, ferrets, ermines, martens feel great. Various species of waterfowl nest on rivers and ponds. Grouse, capercaillie and black grouse live in these places.

The Kuchinsky forest park of Balashikha has recently been greatly transformed. A group of activists from the city of Zheleznodorozhny (leaders - General M. Novik and writer A. Batashev) by 2012 began to clean up forests in several blocks (48, 69, 70) of the forest park. In general, for the entire period from 2012 to 2014, they cleaned forests of 35 hectares. According to activists, more than 6,000 felled tree trunks were harvested.

This part of the park in the 19th century belonged to the territory of the old Ryabushinsky estate and was a homestead park that has been completely abandoned since the 70s of the 20th century. The governor of the Moscow Region S. Shoigu, the initiative of the activists was fully supported, and the first cleanup of the forest Kuchinsky forest park was held on the first day of July 2012. In total, 15 large subbotniks were held by the residents of Kuchino. In the spring of 2014, the city government of Zheleznodorozhny repaired the road in the central part of the park zone.

The work on putting in order, which was quite actively carried out by civil activists, was awarded the prize "Our Moscow Region", approved by the governor of the Moscow region.
