The name "distributor" came to us from the English language, where "distribution" means "distribution". It is this market distribution that the representative of this profession is engaged in. However, not everyone knows what it is. So, a distributor is any organization or company that carries out bulk purchases and deliveries. You can also say that this is an entrepreneur who is engaged in the purchase of a variety of goods in large and small manufacturing firms. Further, his task is to sell previously purchased goods in the markets in order to make a profit. More often the distributor buys the goods from foreign manufacturers, then to put it on the regional market.

That is, we can say that the distributor is not only a company, but also a private person. Thus, any person who has made a major purchase of a product begins to perform distribution functions immediately after such an action. After which this person will sell directly or through intermediaries. Each of the distributors has a legal right that gives all the necessary powers. The manufacturing company, with which any distributor cooperates, issues a certificate that allows the company or person to buy and sell. Thus, any company or private entrepreneur having certain skills and a desire to revolve in a circle of trade can become a distributor.

There are two types of distributors: general and exclusive. An exclusive distributor is a specialist who works with only one manufacturing company, that is, undertakes not to cooperate with others. In turn, the manufacturing company guarantees cooperation with only one distributor. Each large company has at least one official representative of its products in different countries.
The distributor of food products takes all the work on their implementation. Such cooperation is beneficial both to manufacturers and distributors, as the former get the opportunity to distribute their goods in different cities, and the latter earn money by reselling. When working with consumers, it is very important to take into account the mentality of the inhabitants of the country in which the sales are made. Only with a complete analysis of consumer tastes can we say with accuracy whether a particular product will be sold in a given place.

For the first time, distribution became known in the 90s, it was during that period that private entrepreneurs flourished. It is not easy to start this business, since usually inexperienced entrepreneurs work only with little-known products, which means that there are no guarantees that the expenses will pay off, and even more so that any profit will be made. Today, the task has become easier, you can find all the necessary information on any company on the Internet, and this significantly reduces the risk of depositing funds in obviously unprofitable business.
So, we can say that a distributor is a very profitable profession, but only if you seriously engage in such activities. Not all people can perfectly master it and achieve success, since the key component of a good career is communication skills and sales skills.
