Wrestling WWE. History and Legends

Wrestling in our time is usually called a theatrical production, in each match of which the name of the winner is predetermined. After wrestling began to gain popularity around the world, especially in the USA, Mexico and Japan, a large number of organizations conducting wrestling shows were created. Such organizations began to be called "promotion", and WWE - World Wrestling Entertainment from the United States became the largest and most popular among them.

Possessing a rich history, WWE wrestling experienced during its existence both periods of prosperity and times of oblivion. If you plunge into history, you can find out a lot of interesting facts about this popular mixture of wrestling and shows.

WWE takes its beginnings in January of one thousand nine hundred and sixty-three years - it was then in Toronto that the battle for the NWA champion title took place, in which the heavyweights Lou Tez and Buddy Rogers converged. Lou Tez defeated this fight, but not everyone recognized his victory. Vince McMahon Sr. and Raymond Mondt, who served as promoters for one of the NWA branches, not only did not recognize Thez as the new champion, but also withdrew from the organization, formed the World Open Wrestling Federation (WWWF) and declared their champion Buddy Rogers.

At the end of the seventies of the last century, the WWWF was renamed the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). This period also becomes the prerequisites for the beginning of the Golden Age of WWE wrestling. Wrestling champions such as Iron Sheikh and Hulk Hogan, who later became a famous Hollywood actor, are gaining wide popularity.

In the eighty-fifth year, WWE wrestling finds a new format for its show, called WrestleMania. From this moment on, wrestling is increasingly spoken of as an unprecedented show before - sports entertainment. During this period, a number of wrestlers appear, who later became cult fighters. Among them, the Last Warrior, Randy Savedge, Jake Roberts, Bret Hart, Sean Michaels, Marty Giannetti, Jerry Lawler, Harley Reis, Rick Ruda and many others can be noted, but the Hulk Hogan continues to be the main star of the federation at that time.

In the ninety-third year, a huge scandal erupts around the World Wrestling Federation - Hulk Hogan is forced to leave the federation due to the use of prohibited steroids. Because of this, Vince McMahon formally resigns as president of WWF and the federation is headed by his wife Linda. Undertaker, Diesel, Sean Michaels and Bret Hart became the main stars of the WWF during that period. Randy Savedge and the “punctured” Hulk Hogan move to another wrestling federation, WCW, where they organize with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash a group called The New World Order. Between the two wrestling federations, fierce competition begins, which journalists called the “Monday War” - the shows “Monday Night RAW” and “Monday Nitro”, organized by these federations, fought for the right to go on prime time on American national television almost every Monday. The WWF Golden Era ends after the Montreal Failure and the Attitude era begins.

During this period, WWF loses the court of an organization called the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and is renamed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). WWE wrestling rules are becoming more stringent, and the battles themselves are becoming more dramatic. As a result, the viewer begins to empathize with such eminent fighters of that time as Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. Their first one-on-one battle for the first time in a long time jumped over the WCW show rating. WWE battles soon became so popular that they completely overshadow their rival and WCW were forced to declare bankruptcy.

Nowadays, WWE wrestling has become a world-class show and continues to bring huge amounts of money to its owners. The names of such fighters as SM Punk, John Cena, Triple H.H. and Skala are known far beyond the United States, and viewers from all over the world are happy to watch fights with their participation.
