Exactly 60 years, Crimea was part of Ukraine (from 1954 to 2014). However, people are always drawn to their native roots. Despite the close connection and the brotherly spirit of the two nationalities, when it was time to choose, the Crimeans decided to rejoin Russia. In March 2014, a referendum was held. So the Federal Republic of Crimea appeared.
History of Crimea
Throughout its history, Crimea has seen many peoples, cultures and customs. Once there were Greeks, Romans, Scythians and other peoples. Until 2014, the loudest event and change in the history of Crimea was its transmission in 1954 by Nikita Khrushchev (head of the USSR) to Ukraine. So, the territory of the former Tavria began to belong to this republic. The transfer of the peninsula was explained by the fact that it is tied to Ukraine with many resources. The gift was considered "for the good" of the further development of Crimea. A wide gesture by Nikita Sergeevich was made on the occasion of the reunion of the fraternal peoples of Russia and Ukraine. So the life of Crimeans has changed. Despite the presence of the Ukrainian language in many areas (educational institutions, television, documentation, etc.), the inhabitants of the peninsula always spoke Russian in everyday life. They considered him their first native language. Even the capital of the Republic of Crimea has always been Russian-speaking.

2014 - the year of changes in the Crimea
Meeting 2014, many residents of the peninsula did not even imagine that they would enter the next 2015th year as Russians, and the territory of the Republic of Crimea would belong to the Russian Federation. This was preceded by many events. In Kiev, people went to Khreshchatyk, dissatisfied with the Ukrainian government. The peninsula, far from the former capital, for the most part observed events from afar. By the way, at the moment, many large Crimean enterprises are in decline. Take, for example, the Kerch shipyard Zaliv, whose former power has sunk into oblivion. The lack of attention to such structures was obvious.
Russian Republic of Crimea
In March 2014, Crimeans went to vote, and, as the election results showed, most of the inhabitants of the peninsula chose the entry of their native land into the Russian Federation. This decision was accompanied by a huge number of changes in the Crimea, as well as a sharp negative reaction from Ukraine. The transition period has come - a time of change in all areas of life. The referendum divided families that did not understand the position of their relatives, who were already in another country, and fraternal peoples. However, the inhabitants of the peninsula began a new life, because each blacksmith is his own happiness.
Government of the Republic of Crimea
After the Crimean referendum, with the advent of the declaration of independence of Crimea of March 11, 2014, Sergei Valeryevich Aksenov was appointed Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea is an executive body of state power. S.V. Aksyonov said that most of the ministers retained their posts. Some departments were renamed. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea was restructured.
The ministers were appointed by the government:
- finance;
- culture;
- economic development;
- resort and tourism;
- Agriculture;
- labor and social protection;
- industrial policy;
- education, science and youth;
- sports;
- health care;
- property and land relations;
- justice;
- transport.
Elections of the head of Crimea
April 14, by decree of the President of Russia, Sergei Aksyonov was appointed acting head of the Crimea. On September 17, his candidacy, along with Alexander Terentyev and Gennady Naraev, was included in the list of applicants for the aforementioned position. The State Council of the Republic of Crimea elected Sergey Aksyonov as the head of the peninsula government unanimously - 75 deputies cast their votes in his favor. In addition to him, there were two more candidates for this position. Each applicant could submit his program for the further development of the peninsula. However, the remaining candidates agreed with the general opinion of the people and deputies that Aksyonov should become the chairman of the Council of Ministers. Sergey Valerievich is also a member of the United Russia party.
New contacts of the government of Crimea
With the advent of the new government, as expected, contacts have also changed. In 2014, a new official website was created. Prior to this, the news from the leadership of the peninsula could only be read on Facebook. Now residents of the Crimea can familiarize themselves with the information and contact decision makers through the feedback form. The site contains sections on decrees and orders, as well as other documentation and various projects. Also, Crimeans can get acquainted with photo and video materials regarding the leadership of the peninsula and the government of the Russian Federation. Information on district state administrations can be found in the corresponding section.
In the center of the peninsula, Simferopol, a contact center has begun its work, where people are contacted about various issues of concern to them. The number of incoming calls to the contact center is huge, so the hotline also operates in Crimea, the staff of which is planned to be expanded in the future. The head of state asked residents of the peninsula to report, by appropriate numbers, all cases of rude behavior or improper fulfillment of their direct duties by public servants. Aksyonov said that he would personally monitor issues related to corruption and would not allow the transition period to allow those in senior positions to take advantage of this situation.
Changes in various areas of life
The inhabitants of the peninsula said goodbye to Ukrainian legislation and began to study the new, as well as the development of programs in force in the Russian Federation. These issues touched a huge number of specialists, special training courses were organized for teachers, accountants, lawyers. Ukrainian banks left the territory, which could not continue their work due to new circumstances. However, they were quickly replaced by Russian structures. Also, new leisure programs in the Crimea were organized.
The new government of the peninsula drew attention to powerful enterprises that are on the verge of collapse. Plans began to develop plant refurbishment. In December 2014, Sergei Aksyonov personally visited the Kerch Shipyard, promising that the Crimean leadership would do its utmost to support the development of the Gulf. Also, the Russian government is trying to quickly respond and resolve issues such as the supply of water and electricity to the peninsula. Some complications arose in this area. The Ukrainian government blocked the canal, which was a source of drinking water for Crimeans, and also did not supply electricity to Crimea for some time.
Simferopol - Crimean center
As before, the city of Simferopol is the capital of the Republic of Crimea. He is the point of transport that connects the cities of Tavria. There is an international airport in Simferopol, a railway line passes through it. Regular buses can drive to the railway station. Simferopol, the capital of the Republic of Crimea, is the main point of transport interchange between different corners of the peninsula. Most tourists drive through this city or fly to its airport.
Previously, from Simferopol it was possible to take a train to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, but at the end of 2014 the situation changed. Railway communication with Ukraine was blocked. The capital of the Republic of Crimea can no longer send trains or buses across the border. Also in this city are important government centers. In the transition period, there are a large number of seminars on Russian law, training courses for various specialists.
Kerch bridge
The ferry in the Kerch port is the only link connecting the peninsula and the Russian coast at the beginning of 2015. After the accession of Crimea, the load on the ferries increased, but their number increased. In the summer of 2014, this type of communication could not serve a huge flow of cars, which led to the formation of long queues on both sides. Also, during a storm and worsening weather conditions, the ferry closes, because transporting passengers or vehicles in such situations is dangerous. A bridge built across the Kerch Strait could solve many communication problems between the banks.
The project has been published more than once. This is the most convenient form of communication you can imagine. Crimeans, like the inhabitants of mainland Russia, are looking forward to the implementation of this project.
