Dennis Alexio - American boxer, actor. He played together with Jean-Claude Van Damme in the film Kickboxer (1989), got a small minor role in the movie Trigger Picasso (1988). Most often, Dennis showed himself in competitions in light heavy and heavy weight.

The former boxer was born March 12, 1959 in California, USA. At birth, his name was Dennis Raymond Dick. For excellent successes in kickboxing, where he won 68 victories and suffered only 2 defeats, he was nicknamed "The Terminator".

From childhood, Dennis was a good athlete: he showed good results, playing basketball, baseball, football. Kickboxing fighter did not get carried away right away. This was preceded by a desire to learn martial arts such as Kazukenbo (Hawaiian Islands) and Tansudo (Korea). Only after that, Dennis realized that in kickboxing he has practically no equal.

As a professional kickboxer, Dennis Alexio established himself in 1980. It was this year, having fought in the same ring with Mike King, he lost a duel to him by technical knockout. But the fighter was in no hurry to give up: the next 17 victories proved his unrivaled talent in kickboxing. In 1983, Alexio defeated Basil Guru during a duel in New South Wales.

Continuing to take huge steps in kickboxing, Dennis Alexio fights harder with rivals. One of these was Don Wilson, nicknamed the Dragon, who was considered one of the best professional athletes. The competition ended in favor of Don - Dennis lost. Since the fight was carried out in Wilson's hometown, Alexio suggested that his rival won only by decision of the hometown administration. The second duel between them did not take place.

After this victory, Dennis Alexio again and again began to win.

From 1987 to 1991 the wrestler switched to heavy weight competitions. He fought with many athletes, including Larry McFadden, Darrell Henegan and others.

The last fight in the career of the famous kickboxer was a fight on December 18, 1999 with the Welshman Gordon Minars. Dennis won a brilliant victory and became an eight-time world champion.

The most striking and serious in Dennis's career are fights with Croatian Branko Cicatic and Australian Stan Longinidis, held in 1992.

With Branco, the world heavyweight champion, according to the World Kickboxing Association, Alexio entered the fray on March 16 this year at the World Martial Arts Competition in Nevada, USA. Throughout all three rounds, the fighters were practically not inferior to each other in strength. In the next round, Alexio made a small mistake on impact. The result of a tense battle was a technical draw.

The next competition that left a mark on the career of a professional kickboxer was sparring with Stan Longinidis, which Alexio agreed to fight only after some time. The fight lasted only a few seconds, because Stan struck Dennis with a blow that resulted in a fracture of Alexio's tibia and tibia. Thanks to this, Longinidis was declared the winner. Later, the injured kickboxer tried to challenge the results, but the second fight between the athletes did not take place.

Despite a fairly successful sports career, Dennis Alexio had problems with the law, more than once. At first, the kickboxer was accused of fraud for non-payment of alimony, as a result of which he was ordered to be detained. Also, the fighter and even his wife have been repeatedly charged with forging documents, fraud, money laundering. Alexio claimed he was innocent, but nonetheless in 2017 he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
