Every agronomist and gardener wants to get high yields from any land area, spending a minimum of time and labor on it, while ensuring that all vegetable products are clean, without nitrates. This task was impossible for many, until they mastered the so-called. mitlider method.
The merit of the doctor of agricultural sciences Jacob Mitlider consists in the development by him (after more than half a century of studying gardening and personal experience in it) his own method of growing plants, convenient and easy, allowing you to receive abundant crops from a land plot with any soil, in any season and in any climate (with rare exceptions).
Mitlider cultivation is a tool common to family vegetable growing (shovel, rake, chopper), rejection of unnecessary agricultural equipment and herbicides, limited use of fungicides and insecticides. On plantings that have an original geometry, all plants are provided with balanced nutrition and constant attention to them from the gardener. All this is supported by daily conscientious and pedantic work.
The beds according to the Mitlider method are arranged as follows:
- The standard width of the ridges is 45 cm, the gaps between them are 90 cm.
- Ridges and passages are on the same level, they are separated by earthen bumpers.
- Ridges are located strictly horizontally.
- Small, medium and most large vegetable crops occupy two rows on the ridges, the largest - one row.
- For each vegetable crop, the distance between the plants in the row and the number of top dressings in the growing season are determined.
- A nutrient mixture of a unique composition, the preparation of which is carried out by the most common mineral fertilizers commercially available, is introduced when digging the ridges and for feeding.
- The nutrient mixture is poured with a strip between two rows of plants and subsequently dissolves during watering. This is top dressing.
- Watering the ridges is carried out as necessary, preventing the topsoil from drying out . Its loosening is excluded.
- Weed weeding is carried out in a quick, easy and efficient mechanical way.
The enumeration of these elements is a summary of the technology of vegetable growing, called the "Mitlider method."
Often, along with enthusiastic reviews about him, one also has to meet with negative ones, even excessively harsh ones. However, a few simple leading questions to the authors of the rebuke in the vast majority of cases immediately reveal the truth.
First of all, the garden plot needs good lighting, the presence of a source of irrigation water and the complete absence of flooding. Any ridges must meet these requirements - both traditional wide raised, and narrow flat according to the Mitlider. Tolerance of violating any of these requirements will adversely affect the future harvest. In addition, the Mitlider method is based, inter alia, not only on the simple and clear recommendations outlined above, but also on their conscientious implementation.
