The history of the brewery
Once a simple German farmer Antonius Kramer, who had been brewing beer for his family for several years, decided to establish mass production. But, apparently, he was not going to report this to the authorities, so as not to pay the beer tax rather big at that time. However, the sneaky neighbor of the entrepreneurial brewer was too envious, or, conversely, respectable and honest. Spying on Antonius, he surrendered it to the police with giblets. The farmer had to pay not only a beer tax, but also a huge fine. But he no longer needed to hide, and now he could calmly sell beer to local residents. The brewery was located directly in the residential building of Kramer and brought a good income. He did not even need to open the inn. Barrels of beer were immediately exported immediately after fermentation.
Unfortunately, at the beginning of the XIX century the whole house, and with it the factory burned to the ground in a fire. But the heirs did not despair. On a grand scale, they rebuilt a new brewery, a large house adjacent to it, even opened their own hotel.
After a while, the small town of Warstein grew, a railway was laid through it. The descendants of Kramer became more and more successful, because their beer was snapped up like hot cakes.
Production License in Russia
Since the end of 2013, the Russian company Baltika, thanks to high-class equipment and a modern approach to the management system, has received a license giving the right to produce Warsteiner beer. The manufacturer undertook not to deviate from the principles of quality that have been formed over the centuries. Every month, experts from Germany check the taste characteristics of the original and its analogue. One of the main brewers of Warsteiner flattered about several types of beer produced by the Baltika brewery. He was struck by the purity of the taste of the drink. The president of the Russian brewery is very proud that the country has established production. Beer "Warsteiner Premium Werum" is a classic German lager, which is produced in St. Petersburg. Now beer in a 0.5 liter bottle can be bought in any major city in Russia.
Composition
Distinctive qualities of the drink are its transparency and the bitter taste of hops. Warsteiner beer is brewed from soft water delivered from an imperial spring, hops, malt and yeast. No artificial additives are used in its production. In addition to the classic Pilsen beer, the company also brews dark and non-alcoholic. Two types of beer mixes are produced at the brewery: with the addition of refreshing lemonade and with the taste of orange, lemon and cola.
