Boyan Jokic is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a left-back (sometimes a midfielder) in the Russian club Ufa and the national team of Slovenia. He also played for teams such as Triglav, Goritsa, Sochaux, Chievo, Villarreal and Nottingham Forest. The footballer's height is 177 centimeters, and he weighs 77 kg. Possesses high technical skills and high speed, perfectly performs early canopies and long passes.
Biography
Boyan Jokic was born on May 17, 1986 in the city of Kranj, Yugoslavia (Slovenia). From an early age he began to get involved in football, studied in specialized sections and took part in various children's competitions. At the age of 17 he was admitted to the football academy of the Triglav club, where he immediately began performing in the first team. Here he spent exactly two seasons, during which he spent 57 official matches.
Going to Goritsa
In 2005, Boyan Jokic joined the Goritsa club, where he became a regular regular player. In the debut season for the new club, he became the champion of the First League of Slovenia, having spent 35 official matches and scoring one goal. The following season, Jokic spent 41 matches, helped his team win silver medals in the championship.
Performances for the French Sochaux
In July 2007, Slovenian footballer Boyan Jokic moved to the French League 1, where he joined the Sochaux club. Advocate signed a four-year contract for an undisclosed amount. Performances for the Spanish Villarreal
In April 2013, the player moved to the Spanish La Liga where he signed a four-year contract with Villarreal. As part of the “yellow submarine,” Boyan Jokic made his debut on September 29 of the same year in a match against Real Betis, which ended in defeat with a minimum score of 0: 1. For two and a half seasons, the team held 33 matches. As part of Villarreal, the player took part in the UEFA Europa League and even witnessed how his club was on the first line of La League for some time, which was the highest achievement of the team in history.

In January 2017, Boyan Jokich became a Ufa player from the Premier League. The contract was designed for a year and a half. On August 2, 2018, the defender scored an important goal against the Slovenian club NK Domzale in the framework of the Europa League, equalizing the score in the match (1: 1). The total score of two matches was 1: 1, and the goal of Jokic was decisive, because he was scored on the road. As a result, “Ufa” for the first time in its history has advanced to the next round of European competitions. For two seasons in the Russian club Boyan spent 38 matches and became the author of two goals.

On December 28, 2006, Jokic made his debut in the Slovenian team in a match with Cyprus, which ended in victory for the first with a score of 1-0. He regularly played for the national team and scored his first international goal on March 3, 2010 against Qatar.
