Modern people have forgotten that getting rid of ailments is possible not only with synthetic drugs, but also with natural medications. Easier - with herbs and medicines made from them. Omik-root: photos, indications for use, various recipes - all this information will be discussed later.
A few words about the plant itself
Initially, it is worthwhile to deal with all concepts and terms. It is important to note that omik grass has various names. In literature, it is called the Ferula of the Dzungarian. This is a perennial plant of the umbrella family, it has large beautiful leaves and an impressive size (an average of 1 to 4 meters). The umbrellas themselves are large (collected in a panicle), can be yellow or white.
Caution: omic grass is poisonous (although not as much as hemlock or milestone). Often people are poisoned after applying the leaves or fruits of a given plant, mistaking them for edible elements. In medicine, the root of this plant is used as an ingredient for the preparation of medicines. However, it is poisonous. Therefore, when preparing drugs, you need to carefully monitor the dosage indicated in the recipe. Otherwise, you can cause irreparable harm to your own health!
Grass prevalence
It is also important to note that not all people can find an ohmik in their region. So, mainly it grows in the Asian region, where the climate is most suitable for it. You can meet him in Iran, China, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, India, as well as in some regions of Russia (for example, in Altai and in the Novosibirsk region).
Omik is a plant that does not like loneliness, and therefore it can be found among other shrubs. This grass grows mainly on rocky mountain slopes, river banks, forest edges, as well as in dry valleys and highlands (however, no higher than 1,500 meters above sea level).
A bit of history
It is also important to clarify that the healing properties of this plant have been known for a very long time. So, it was actively used by specialists of Avestan medicine in the distant VIII – VI centuries BC. e. Already at that time, the roots of this plant were actively used, as well as the milk extracted from it, camel resin (“asafoetida”). The product was obtained by hardening the root juice in fresh air. Its aroma reminds a smell of pine pitch. Large droplets, which gradually harden in the process of drying the root, look very peculiar. They give this part of the plant a very unusual look. So, in the context after drying, the omic root is very similar to homemade sweet sausage, which is prepared from cocoa and crushed shortbread cookies.
It should also be noted that the root of the described plant itself is very large, one might even say - huge. This is because this grass has to grow on rocks and rocky surfaces. In order to get water from the depths of the soil, such a large root is needed. It has a brown color, thick and extremely heavy (it can weigh up to several kilograms). If you try to break the root, a whitish liquid leaks out of it, which gradually becomes yellow when it comes in contact with air.
If we talk about the constituent parts, the gum-resin consists of resins (10-65%), essential oils (about 5-20%), as well as gums (12-45%).
If we talk about the name, the omic root is also called: “Adam root”, “turpentine root”.

Treatment
You need to remember: ohmic root is poisonous. So you need to start taking it only with the permission of the doctor. In addition, it is important to correctly observe the dosage not only during the use of the drug, which contains this root, but also at the stage of self-preparation of such drugs.
Alcohol tincture
As a medicine, alcoholic tincture of ohmic can be used. To prepare it, you need to fill in about three to four tablespoons of the root with a half liter of vodka (or 40% alcohol). Further, the medicine should be infused in a dark place for about 10-14 days. It is important at the same time to prevent sunlight from entering the drug container. After the expiration of the drug must be filtered.
After that, the product is ready for use. So, initially, as a medicine, you need to use only one drop of this drug. Further, the dosage is increased to two drops, then to three, and so on to twenty. But not more. The drug is taken before meals in about 50 minutes or an hour twice a day.
If you use alcohol tincture for external use, you need to drip about 15 drops of the product on a cotton swab, then rub everything on the affected area of the body. For the best effect, the painful area should be pre-massage or just rub it with your hands.
Root broth for oral use
In what form can the ohmic root be used? Treatment is effective even if it is carried out using a decoction. The medicine itself in this case is not at all difficult to prepare. So, first you have to grind about three tablespoons of previously harvested raw materials. All this is poured with a half liter of boiling water. Further, the drug that is not yet completely ready is placed on a small fire and languishes for 35 minutes. After this, the broth is removed from the fire, cools and necessarily filtered. And only at this stage the medicine is ready.
The drug is taken exclusively in the form of heat for one tablespoon once a day: preferably before bedtime. The most common course of treatment with such a decoction: one and a half weeks. However, if necessary, it can be extended. But in this case, the treatment should be under the supervision of a treating doctor.
Root broth
As already mentioned above, for external use, ohmic root is also widely used. Patient reviews indicate that in this case it is better to do special baths that help get rid of a wide range of problems (primarily skin).
So, to prepare a medicine for external use, you need to grind four tablespoons of the ingredient, pouring them with the third part of a liter (i.e. 300-350 milliliters) of boiling water. We can make a simple conclusion that in this case, the decoction will be more concentrated than when it is prepared for external use.
Further, the resulting mass is infused for about 60 minutes, after which it is placed on low heat and languishes for about 20 minutes. Then the product is filtered, the root itself is wrung out well (in this case, the cake can be reused by squeezing it and mixing the liquids).
In what volume should a ready-made decoction of such a remedy as ohmic root be added to the bath? Patient reviews indicate that it is better to use it at the rate of 10 mg of the finished drug per 1 kg of a person's weight. Such baths should be taken every other day.
