A few words about the author
The creator of Treasures of the Valkyries, Sergei Alekseev, was born in the Tomsk Region on January 20, 1952. The writer's childhood and youth were difficult: the school was very far from home, in addition, the boy had to combine his studies with work at a very young age. Despite all the difficulties, the creator of Treasures of the Valkyrie Sergey Alekseev managed to achieve success in the field of education. Due to his perseverance, after graduating from evening school, the young man entered a technical school, after which he worked for a long time as a geologist in expeditions.
The young talent did not stop there. Having achieved the necessary experience and qualifications, Sergei entered the university at the Faculty of Law, while being in the police service.
Soon, the writer realized that law is not a sphere that could become his meaning of life. For many years, Alekseev spent on geological work, traveling throughout Russia. Very soon, this began to be reflected in his works, such as “Treasures of the Valkyries: standing by the Sun”, “The Word” and many others.

Now the writer lives in the Urals, is very interested in various Old Slavonic rites, as you can guess from his works.

Starting from the first part, the book cycle promised the reader something interesting and unusual. The plot of “Treasures of Valkyrie: standing by the Sun” takes place in the North, in the Urals. Strange events, which simply cannot be found a reasonable explanation, begin to occur in the Ural territories. Scientists in various fields of science find traces of UFOs, yetis. There is information about the existence of Varangian gold. Inveterate criminals who managed to escape from hard labor, organized their troops and freemen. The whole world was just going crazy.
The protagonist of “Treasures of Valkyrie: standing by the Sun”, one of the employees of the famous Institute of treasure hunters, is in the thick of things. His organization was disbanded, and his Valkyrie project was completely and inevitably closed. However, the main character is sure that in the Northern Urals there are traces of one of the most ancient civilizations. He sets himself the goal: at all costs to find these traces and make the greatest discovery, which probably can shock not only Russia, but also confound many geologists and historians around the world.
Continuation of a story
The plot of the entire book cycle revolves around former employees of the Institute, whose activities are in great secrecy. In the 1990s, the organization disintegrates, and projects are closed. Then, former employees independently undertake an investigation of some parts of the territory of Russia in order to find treasures and make discoveries that can shock the whole world.
All stories are supported by the historical basis, about which the author writes in his interpretation, in various hypotheses. All riddles that still do not have an answer - this is exactly what has become the main theme in all the books of Alekseev.
