One of the most brilliant poets of the XIX century is considered to be Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. "Cloud" is a hymn to rain on a summer day. The poem radiates the freshness that appears after a thunderstorm; it is permeated by sunlight that heats the earth. The poet discovered a new style of writing poetry, in his works a literary device is used to identify nature with living beings. Trees, stones, sea, sky, earth - all of them are endowed with the ability to feel, experience, love. Like living creatures, Pushkin is addressing them.

A cloud is the main character of a verse; the authorβs attitude to it is ambiguous. In the first quatrain, he is aggressive towards her. The cloud makes the poet discouraged, so he waits for it to disappear from view, and the sky will become clear. The author reproaches the cloud for the fact that it did not disappear in time and catches up with memories of the storm, rain, and thunderstorm experienced. Although admiration is felt for how our world works, it nevertheless reminds the heavenly wanderer of the completion of her mission to Pushkin.
The cloud in the second quatrain appears in the image of the mistress of the sky, it was there that she achieved unprecedented greatness. The author acknowledges the fact that she was needed, people and nature were waiting for her arrival. A cloud of water gave the earth life-giving moisture, it was in the prime of life when dazzling lightning enveloped it. But now the last rumble of thunder died down, the rain stopped, and the cloud became redundant in the sky, it rushes about, looking for shelter, but all attempts are in vain.

The third quatrain was already more calm and filled with peace by Pushkin. The cloud no longer seems formidable and majestic, it even becomes a pity. The author does not threaten anyone, but only asks to hide and not to agitate. The first quatrain is an introductory one, it tells the reader about the main character, sets the mood for the whole poem. Here despondency slips, annoyance is felt. In the second quatrain, the fighting spirit prevails; it is the culmination, the apotheosis. The poet is inspired, he vividly describes the picture of a rainstorm on a summer day. Repeating growling consonants allow you to better perceive the mood that Pushkin tried to convey.
The poem "Cloud" ends in a soothing and pacifying atmosphere. The author no longer requires anything - he asks to leave and not to interfere. Alexander Sergeevich very vividly depicted the awakening of nature after rain, the lines feel fresh. Changeability, diversity of the world, obedience to established laws - all this was transmitted by the poem "Cloud". Pushkin (analysis of the work emphasized that, in the understanding of the author, higher powers, not people, rule the world) showed that the violation of harmony deprives a person and the nature of happiness.

There is a time for everything: in a drought, everyone expected a cloud, asked for rain, which could give water to the earth, thirsty for moisture. After the rain, people want to see the sun, a clear, blue sky, not a thundercloud. The poet insists that everything must be done on time, so that in the future not to be expelled and not to regret the days that have gone forever. The cloud symbolizes a person who turned out to be out of place and out of place, and therefore was not understood.
