By the nature of my activity, I am connected with teenagers. Every year I have to watch how painfully the guys choose their future profession. Some people take this consciously, trying to choose a business that matches their inclinations, while others, just in case, go to several universities to have more room for choice, which they are going to make later. A third do not imagine what they would like to do. This category of guys asks a lot of very difficult questions. One of these questions I had to hear many times: "And what is the most interesting work in the world?" My reasoning that each person has his own inclinations and interests was clearly not satisfactory for my wards. They did not want to listen to reasoning; they needed specifics. And I decided to come to grips with this issue.
Now I am ready to tell the boys not only about what work is considered interesting in the world, in Moscow, in our city. I learned that there are interesting professions that are not included in any registry, but, nevertheless, are popular.
But for starters, what is a profession, how does it differ from work. A profession is a type of occupation or activity that can be performed only with special training. And work is what a person is busy with, his circle of duties, his area of activity.
Further. Do not confuse interesting professions with rare, exotic ones. (This is the mistake my teenagers made). The most interesting professions in the world are recognized as a PR specialist, computer specialist, model, film actor, political scientist, economist. However, this is not an easy job, requiring special education, knowledge of technology or psychology, several foreign languages.
My boys wanted to know if there are interesting professions that do not require long training. It turned out there. The most interesting work in the world was recognized as the work of the caretaker of a natural underwater reserve. She was followed by work as a surf instructor, especially in Australia.
But today I want to recall quite exotic, and therefore interesting professions. They do not require special training, and therefore attract people of a certain type.
Several of these specialties are light and enjoyable. These are testers of furniture, water slides, and other attractions. Some of them spend the whole day lounging on sofas, sitting chairs, while others ride, ride and ride.
There are specialties whose name is surprising. For example, a brain extractor. These people literally take out the brain from animals to instantly deliver it to visitors to some restaurants.
Minimal preparation requires the work of a pedicure master for cows and horses.
By the way, everyone understands the phrase “the most interesting human profession” differently. For some this is an occupation that gives the right to control people, for the second - the ability to travel the world. Someone believes that only a specialty that allows you to earn a lot can be interesting, and someone sees interest in minimal physical and mental stress.
For each of these categories there are interesting professions. For example, an armpit snuffer. This very real specialty is in demand by manufacturers of antiperspirants. There is an even less "stressful" occupation that allows you to make good money: the waiting list. Today, this activity is gaining popularity in our country. All that is required of a person standing in line for you is patience.
Penguin flippers make decent money. Some polar stations constantly need them.
Profitable, but not very prestigious activity - a toilet guide. And there are also pillow straighteners, egg sniffers, female stripper researchers, condom, medication, and tampon testers. In different places, tailings controllers, mouse breeders, bonfire rappers, mortisers are required.
Do not think that these classes are uninteresting: they are in demand. Although I personally chose another: nervous, requiring constant tension, not having a constant schedule, not a romantic teaching profession at all. In my opinion, this is the most interesting profession.
