Exacerbates - is it an exaggeration or a manifestation of powerlessness?

It is obvious to every person that conflicts in life are inevitable, both in the family and in the professional sphere. But do not be upset, because the presence of conflict and its resolution are one of the main ways to resolve the contradictions that arise for one reason or another between people. It will not be possible to completely eliminate them, but each of us has the strength to learn not to aggravate them. So, the topic of today's publication will be devoted to the following: what does this - exacerbate?

exacerbates a synonym

Teachers in our schools

People tend to make mistakes. And we are all different, mistaken in different ways, treat our mistakes in our own way. Our esteemed school teachers, whom we will conditionally divide into three groups, are also no exception. The authority of the teacher directly depends on the ability to avoid mistakes in their work. So, the first group is authoritarian. They do not like and do not know how to admit their mistakes, but they exacerbate the situation by ignoring their mistakes and undermining the authority of the teacher. As a result, students see this unfortunate mistake.

As for the Democratic teachers, this is the second group, they are struggling, but still know how to admit their mistake to the students. "Do not aggravate!" - this is the motto of wise mentors. And finally, the third group - liberal teachers, who, unfortunately, are not afraid of their mistakes and do not attach great importance to them. But, as a rule, they are often admitted, so the authority of such a teacher in the eyes of students often falls. It should also be remembered that the ability to admit one’s mistakes is not at all a way to maintain one’s authority, it’s just a means not to aggravate.

Meaning of the word

So, the synonym for “aggravates” is to increase, increase the degree or strength of the manifestation of something. This word is used if they say something bad and unpleasant. Moreover, we note how often the word “not” appears with the word “exacerbate”. I would like to note that in ancient times this word was used exclusively in those cases when they wanted to say about an increase in either an object in size, or in volume or in quantity.

Moreover, in the word “aggravate”, it is allowed to emphasize either the syllable with the letter “i” or the syllable with the last letter “y”.

exacerbates this

Let the two halves remain intact

No matter how much husband and wife love each other, they will still argue. And in a situation of this kind, there are two ways: not to aggravate or aggravate. I would like to note that the outcome of such disputes is always the same: the winner is the head of the house. Moreover, if you do not aggravate the situation, but calmly and clearly state your point of view, then you can avoid tantrums, screams and insults. If negative emotions prevail over you, then you risk leaving an unpleasant aftertaste in each other’s souls.

So, if a person aggravates, it means that he forgot about how much he loves his soul mate, moreover, it undermines good family relationships. And in this case, the two sides remain offended. To aggravate is to let the argument grow into war. In this case, the “not” particle will help to correct the unpleasant situation.

So, do not aggravate, but gently hint about help, because it is much better than a direct accusation or silent humility. Defuse the situation, look for an alternative to conflict, offer peace. Do not aggravate, but make a proposal that will satisfy your requirements and reduce difficulties for the second half. And remember that "peace and harmony is a great treasure." Do not aggravate!
