Born on January 6, 1961 in Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, a small town in the Sakhalin Region on the western coast of Sakhalin Island. In school, Anya survived the divorce of her parents, which played a key role in her fate. It was after the divorce of her parents that Anya and her mother moved to Moscow. Here, Anya successfully graduates from a mathematical school and enters the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute at the Faculty of Automated Control Systems. There were only three girls (and eighty-four boys) in the construction team at MEPhI, and the work was hard. Anya, a sophisticated, lofty young lady, was fond of playing the piano and tried not to lift anything heavier than one and a half kilograms - so that her hand would not tremble. But is it possible to show that you cannot do something? As a result, Anya threw concrete with a shovel for two days. But on the third day she could not take a shovel - she brought her hands together. In the remaining days, I had to serve the construction business in the form of a load for a vibrorail, which levels the concrete road.
Career start: Vympel NGO
After graduation, Anna Belova came to work at the Vympel NGO. Here I went from an ordinary engineer to a chief specialist in foreign economics. In the same period after graduation, Anna entered the graduate school of the Research Institute of Radio Instrumentation, which she graduated in 1989.
At the end of the 80s, he creates and leads a movement called the Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth at the Research Institute of Radio Instrument Engineering.

In 1993, Anna Belova received a job offer from the large American company Booz Allen & Hamilton and faced a difficult choice - to agree to the offer of a large American company (the third consulting group in the world) or to continue the development of cellular telephony. Anna Grigoryevna made a choice in favor of Booz Allen & Hamilton and never regretted it.
Anna Grigoryevna Belova worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton for 5 years - she was the head of the Moscow representative office of the company and was responsible for business development in Russia and the CIS.
Anna Grigoryevna recalls what a difficult test for a person with the Russian mentality was the work in a Western company. But thanks to this circumstance, Anna Belova was able to cultivate the best features in herself - the principles of organizing herself, work, time, relationships with people. Western formalism, excessive pedantry, primacy of form over content, work beyond any personal circumstances - for a person from the Soviet Union this was at least unusual. So, Anna Grigoryevna recalls how annoyed it was to get an important and good report from the chief for revision because of the missing gaps in the proposals. But this disciplines very well and teaches that no matter how unique the content, it does not allow neglect of form.
Anna Grigoryevna calls Booz Allen & Hamilton “her business universities”: here she participated in many large international projects, gained experience in making important management decisions, formed professional baggage, on the basis of which she could later receive a second economic education and defend a dissertation.
Nevertheless, after 5 years of successful and fruitful work, Anna Grigoryevna leaves the organization, as she does not share the strategic plans of the company’s management for the development of business in Russia.
After leaving BAH, Anna Grigoryevna worked for 8 months at Unicon, where she successfully implemented two major projects.
Ministry of Railways and career in Russian Railways
In 2000, a new milestone in career development began - Anna Belova began her work at the Ministry of Railways on a railway reform program. The task is very ambitious, especially considering that the previous version of the program was rejected, and a half-year period was given for the development of a new one! And this deadline was met thanks to Belova’s idea: first of all, those measures were agreed upon with which everyone agreed, thanks to which it was possible to consolidate positions.
The railway transport reform program was approved, and a reform headquarters was formed a little later.
Anna Grigoryevna became the first woman leader of a high rank (in the position of deputy minister) in this industry over the entire 150-year history. With her arrival, the very tone of the conference on the selector has changed. Male colleagues stopped cursing on the air.
