The subway electric train driver is the working elite of the enterprise. You can acquire a specialty for a man who has reached 18 years of age and is fit for health reasons. For this, they undergo a professional examination in a specialized clinic,
presenting certificates that you are not registered in drug addiction, tuberculosis and
neuropsychiatric dispensaries. The commission considers such issues as stability of the visual
apparatus, ECG, bicycle ergometry, blood and urine tests, fluorography. Preliminary conclusion is given by specialists: neuropathologist, ENT specialist,
surgeon, dentist and therapist. The final summary is made by the chairman of the EEC. With a positive conclusion, the test subject is allowed to take courses in the specialization "Metro Electric Train Engineer". Before the start of training, a contract is concluded with a future student, according to which at the end of classes he is required to work at least a year in this position at the enterprise. If a person wants to terminate the agreement, he is obliged to reimburse the amount that was spent on his training.

Learning takes place at the desk, and after the student receives the necessary amount of knowledge, he goes directly to the place of future work. From that moment on, an experienced subway electric train driver becomes his teacher. The student receives a monthly scholarship, as a rule, it is adequate to academic performance (average score). Negligent students with unsatisfactory grades receive minimal accruals. If a student regularly misses classes, violates the schedule and systematically "does not have time" in subjects, he can be expelled. At the end of the training period, a specialist certificate is awarded and a qualification is awarded. From this moment, real work begins. The subway train driver performs not only his direct functions (transports
passengers), but also other duties: driving the rolling stock at the nodal and terminal stations, changing shifts for replacing an employee and duty on standby. As you know, the metro is a regime enterprise, and work on it is fraught with strict discipline.
The subway electric train driver can work in three shifts: day, evening and night. Time, place and duration of labor determines the schedule that is issued to the employee at the end of the month. Before the shift, each driver of the electric train passes medical control to determine the degree of his suitability for work.
