Alexander was born in 1912. In the 1920s, the Artemov family moved to the Far East, where the grown-up Sasha studies and participates in the construction of the Primorye railway. At the age of 15, Alexander Artemov begins to write his first poems. At first, he reads them to comrades at Komsomol meetings and meetings.
After a short time, he publishes them not only in famous metropolitan and St. Petersburg magazines, but also in the local Far Eastern press. The first creations of Alexander Artyomov (poet) are published in the city newspaper of Vladivostok “Red Banner” and in the magazine “At the Frontier”. In addition, the poet is passionately interested in the history of the Far East and Siberia, he writes a lot about Semen Dezhnev, Vitus Bering, as well as about other explorers and explorers of the North.
Many times Alexander Artyomov met with combatants on Lake Khazan and on Khalkhin Gol. The meetings resulted in new poems about the heroes of the war.

World War II and tragic death
