Ecological basics of nature management combine knowledge of various fields, such as biology, physics, geography, chemistry and agricultural sciences.
It is well known that in recent decades, the conflict between human interaction with nature is gaining momentum. With the aim of establishing this process, the environmental basics of nature management take into account the totality of all types of environmental impact.
Today it is clear that the rapid development of the mining and processing industries, the increase in the pace of construction, the growth of the transport sector, has led to an increase in large-scale disasters associated with land degradation, deforestation, pollution and other negative phenomena.
The global problems of the biosphere include the threat of the greenhouse effect, the destruction of the ozone layer, desertification of land and the depletion of natural resources.
Nature does not cope with the abundance of foreign chemical compounds entering the soil, water and atmosphere. As you know, the atmosphere has the property of self-cleaning, but the speed and volume of modern pollution covers the natural possibilities of neutralizing them. In addition, active mining does not stop, but if the formation of gas, oil, coal has been going on for more than one million years, a person can develop them in several decades.
In this regard, the environmental foundations of nature management lay the priority areas of social ecology, which include: reproduction and achievement of a high quality environment, economic assessments in its reproduction, the creation of monitoring systems. Needless to say, given the laws of ecology, resource consumption should be moderate.
The main task is to prevent the deterioration of natural resources and their depletion. The solution to this problem is based on:
- increase non-waste production;
- the development of new methods for generating energy;
- solving a demographic problem;
- development of resource-saving technologies.
Environmental principles of environmental management come down to one main postulate: “Use, protect, and protect, using.”
Not to disturb the ecological balance, allowing the ecosystem to recover, it is possible to harvest wood, collect medicinal herbs and berries in the forest, and even hunt.
The essence of environmental management is environmental regulation and a system of prohibitions on all forms of exploitation that lead to the destruction of the ecosystem.
An example is the use of solar energy, wind energy, tides, that is, renewable sources, with minimal environmental pollution.
It is worth noting that the environmental foundations of nature management to solve global environmental problems suggest the joint efforts of many countries. The significance of these problems is due to the fact that they affect the vital aspects of all the states and peoples of the earth.
Russia today is in a deep environmental crisis. About 15% of its territory is in an ecological disaster zone, 85% of the population inhales air contaminated with all kinds of harmful substances above acceptable sanitary standards. The number of "environmentally caused" diseases is growing every year.
On the way out of this crisis, the basics of nature management, their knowledge and practical application are extremely important for humanity. Following their principles will help preserve the natural purity and wealth of our Earth. All of us should first of all think about the state in which we leave this planet after ourselves to our descendants.
