The appearance of Esse wine is associated with the birth of a legend - the Satera company. This company for the production of boutique wine in the Bakhchisarai Valley has broken vineyards on 49 hectares of land. Saplings for planting this vineyard were brought from the Burgundy nursery. Among them, there are eight white and as many red grape varieties.

In 2000, a new wine company Satera was created by two wine distributors. Initially, buildings for winemaking were rented, but after three years they were bought.

At this time, the factory began restoration. New bottling lines were installed. The equipment for processing grapes has been updated. Also, a new cold processing workshop was built on the territory.

A couple of years later, the construction of a new wine aging workshop was completed. The company began to grow rapidly. For aging Esse wine, more than 200 barriques from Carpathian and French oak were purchased.

Since 2007, the company annually began to process more than 600 tons of grapes not only supplied from its own vineyards, but also what was harvested in the Bakhchisarai and Sevastopol vineyards.

Today, the company produces about three and a half million bottles of Esse wine.

The fame of wines reached Moscow long before Crimea was annexed to Russia.

For the quality of Esse wine, one of the most famous oenologists of Crimea, Oleg Repin, is vouched for. This specialist belongs to a number of few winemakers who are well acquainted with the latest trends in wine processing and aging technology that meet European standards.

The company produces two lines of wine. The base, which is called the company "Satera" and the new one that appeared on the wine market since 2005, is the Esse wine line.

In 2010, new vineyards were planted. In the same period, the company producing still wines engaged in the production of sparkling wines using the champagne method. Already on the first installment, consumer reviews were extremely positive.

Another Esse table wine is Wrestling. The grapes from which this type of wine is produced grows in the same place as the previous variety. The color of the wine is golden, shading with green grass.
