In it, the verb schreiben is not literally translated.
Conjugation of the verb schreiben in German
If, for example, you want to talk about how your husband prints a scientific paper, then you need to use the correct schreiben conjugation forms in the present tense. For instance:
- Der Mann schreibt die wissenschaftliche Arbeit. - The husband prints a scientific paper.
Since the verb schreiben is incorrect, you need to remember its two forms, which are used to form the three past tenses:
- schrieb (Präteritum);
- geschrieben (for tough times like Perfect and Plusquamperfekt).
When forming the Präteritum form, the ending corresponding to the desired person and number is added to schrieb. Such a form is used in writing, monologues, fairy tales and stories about what happened a long time ago and in fact has no connection with the present. For instance:
- Alexander Sergejewitsch Puschkin schrieb viele berühmte Märchen. - Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin wrote many famous fairy tales.
Performance is most often used in colloquial speech, and almost always, when talking about the past, they use this time. To form this tense, add the 3 form of the verb schreiben - geschrieben to the haben verb in the required form. For instance:
- Du hast mir ein Gedicht geschrieben. “You wrote me a poem.”
Plusquamperfect time comes when you need to increase the emphasis on the limitation of what is happening, something happened much earlier than the event in question. For instance:
- Wann der Bruder ankam, hatte Anne die Belegarbeit schon geschrieben. - When the brother arrived, Anna already wrote a term paper.
Schreiben conjugation in these tenses is accomplished by changing the verb haben.
If you want to talk about writing a test in the future, then you need to use the verb schreiben in the future tense. Futurum l is formed very simply, as well as in Russian: the auxiliary verb werden + infinitive. For instance:
- Ich werde am Freitag eine Klausur schreiben. - On Friday I will write a test paper.
It is not necessary to use Futurum I, because a sentence in Präsens using pointer words means the same thing. For instance:
- Ich morgen schreibe einen Artikel. - Tomorrow I will write an article.
