Good Georgiev is a Bulgarian footballer playing today for the Russian Orenburg. The player is already 34 years old, so the peak of his fame is left behind, and in the near future he will most likely end his career. Good Georgiev acts as a central midfielder, however, he is a universal of this position, since he can take on both creative and destructive functions.
Carier start

Blagoy Georgiev was born on December 21, 1981 in Bulgaria, where he began to study at the academy of the famous Bulgarian club Slavia. It was with him that he signed a professional contract in 1999. In his first season for the club, the midfielder played only 19 matches, in the second season the situation did not change much - Georgiev was on a substitution and entered the field 20 times. However, since 2001, Blagoy has become an important member of the team. After these two seasons, he spent another four and a half years at the club, playing a total of 174 matches and scoring 46 goals. In the winter of 2006, Blagoy Georgiev went on an increase: he was leased for six months to the Spanish Alaves. There he played ten matches, and when he returned, he was given a one-year lease to the Belgrade Red Star, where he had already played 26 matches. Georgiev spent the season 07/08 on loan at the German Duisburg, where he entered the field in 33 matches and scored three goals. The 27-year-old midfielder spent the first half of the season on 08/09 in Slavia, having played another 14 matches for his home club, but in the winter of 2009 he moved to Grozny's Terek, as the midfielder ended up in Russia.
Transition to Terek
Good Georgiev, whose biography took an unexpected turn, immediately won his place at the base. He spent four years there, playing 111 matches and scoring seven goals. But in the winter of 2013, his contract came to an end, so the midfielder moved to a new club, which became Perm “Amkar”.
The game for Amkar
Footballer Georgiev Blagoy in Amkar did not take root much. In two years, he entered the field only 37 times, scoring three goals. After that, his contract expired, and the Bulgarian again had to look for work. This time he was sheltered by the Kazan Rubin.
Cut in the "Ruby"
At Rubin, the midfielder also spent two years, but his successes were much more impressive. Georgiev has already played 49 matches and was an important player for the team. However, the years have already taken their toll, so they did not renew the contract with him, and it was not so easy to find a job. Therefore, in the summer of 2016, the Bulgarian on the last day of the transfer window agreed on a contract with Orenburg.
Last club
The player’s contract with the new club is for one year. To date, Georgiev has already played nine matches, scoring two goals in them.
Team appearances
Georgiev played fifty matches for the Bulgarian national team, scoring five goals in them. His last game for the national team took place in 2011, then the Bulgarians lost to the Ukrainians with a score of 0: 3, and Georgiev spent forty minutes on the field. Unfortunately, he could not break through with the national team in any major tournament. Accordingly, all the trophies that he won, Georgiev took with the “Red Star” when he was on loan from 2006 to 2007. Then he won both the championship and the Serbia Cup.
