Natural materials are always in fashion. This is a proven fact. The modern look, combined with environmental friendliness, is appreciated not only by designers, but also by ordinary inhabitants. The rattan cloth is an excellent solution for finishing or covering various surfaces. Its weave is aesthetic and elegant.
The rattan palm from which this material is made is one of the longest plants in the world (up to two hundred meters), its homeland is the islands of Indonesia. The rattan trunk is thin, with a diameter of five to seventy millimeters, is smooth, and it itself spreads in the form of a liana. Both bark and the inside of the tree are used, from which panels are made for balconies, loggias and bathrooms.
What is valued rattan cloth

- Ease of care. For care, you can use detergents, brushes, water or special care formulations.
Types of rattan
Panels and webs are made from rattan. Panels (based on particleboard) can be painted in various colors, tinted and varnished. However, they do not need additional protection. The width of natural rattan rolls varies between 600-900 mm. And the length is fifteen meters. If you decide to buy a rattan cloth, but take accurate measurements, since this material is not cheap.
The core of the tree is used for openwork weaving. It is cut in the form of spaghetti. Different diameters of such noodles allow you to use rattan as decorative elements, inserts in the manufacture of furniture (chairs, chests of drawers, wardrobes, coffee tables, headboards, armchairs) and interior decoration. The combination of wood and rattan gives the room, decorated in ethnic style, a complete and perfect look.
Artificial rattan fabric thirty meters long. Such coatings are made using reinforced
nylon filament, cellulose or plastic. Plastic cloth provides heat and moisture resistance. It is white and less environmentally friendly, not intended for wall covering. But from it wonderful screens for radiators turn out.
The paper coating (with cellulose or capron) is unpainted and white. The first can be tinted, stained and varnished.
