Steve Mclaren is a coach and former footballer. He worked in several well-known submarine teams and coached the English national team.

Club career

McLaren started playing football professionally in 1979. The first team of the Englishman was Hull City, for which he spent more than 178 fights and scored 16 goals. After that, Steve changed the club - the midfielder became a player in Derby County. In 1987, the team managed to become the winner of the Second Division of the Football League. For “Baran” he played 25 matches in three seasons, after which he was sent on loan to “Lincoln”. In this team in 1988, he had only 8 fights.

In 1995, the coaching career of Steve McLaren began. For four years, he worked as an assistant at Derby County. After that, he was invited to Manchester United, where he worked as an assistant to head coach Sera Alex Ferguson until 2001.

Work at Manchester United contributed to Steve McLaren becoming one of the assistants in the England national team in 2000. Steve worked at the headquarters of the team for two years. In 2004, he was again invited to the headquarters of the national team, and again Steve was an assistant for two years.
