Promising professions: forecast for 5-8 years

The labor market changes every year, sometimes beyond recognition. Future specialists, those who are now choosing a future profession, should look five years ahead and be aware of which faculties receive promising professions, and which faculty and professors themselves recognize that they will not expect anything good in the future with such a profession.

At one time, universities in large numbers (more than needed) graduated lawyers and managers. Even some technical schools have changed their curricula in order to introduce new professions (for example, an industry manager).

Many at that time (ten years ago) went to study for economists and psychologists. Some were able to get good positions in private firms, while the majority had to be content with a small official salary in budget organizations.

Yes, the question of choosing a profession is important not only from a psychological point of view (suitable - not suitable), but also from the point of view of your value in the labor market. After all, everyone wants to be not only a highly paid specialist, but also in demand (so that there is no fear of losing a job and not finding another).

Before you name the most promising professions in Russia, you need to determine what areas of life today began to actively and rapidly develop.

Developing areas

Firstly, pedagogy: the state has not in vain devoted the last years to restoring the image of a Russian teacher. Yes, the teacher still cannot receive decent pay. But he no longer falls below the poverty line. The state effectively eliminates this problem due to a significant increase in salaries, all kinds of bonuses for achievements in professional activities, due to the possibilities of self-realization (if you want to write, you want a new training course, you can sell everything and get not only good pay, but also recognition).

Secondly, the banking system is actively developing in Russia. And now, such specialists as brokers are becoming really demanded: they are already treated with less bias and much is being done (mainly due to private brokerage houses) in order to eradicate common myths. Especially important in the chain of relations “client-broker-bank” is the willingness of the latter to cooperate not with the borrower or depositor directly, but with his competent (knowing all the details of banking products) representative. The need for such specialists will undoubtedly grow, because the Russian person still has a lot of effort to make in order to accept bank offers. Financial universities today offer promising professions: from an ordinary bank employee to a financial director.

Thirdly, judging by the shelf filled with numerous pharmacies in Russian cities, pharmaceuticals has also become one of the rapidly developing industries. Hence the need for medically competent specialists. Humanity has always seen its future in the latest developments.

Fourthly, the development of information technology, let us say, the IT boom, has become no less significant. It is difficult to imagine how many new posts have been introduced recently in the field of information and communication technologies (media glider, web designer, copywriter). Many users of PCs and the Internet were able to realize themselves in this area and are very pleased with the results of their activities, including recognition. And since the World Wide Web has no boundaries, there is still enough room for everyone for very long years to come. The field of ICT, of course, is fraught with truly promising professions.

Other reforms are also in full swing (the police and other budget organizations came under the attention of the authorities). The country is developing, and we must keep up with progress, only we need to choose a direction.

Recent research

Numerous studies conducted allow us to safely name the following promising professions:

  • in the political sphere (however, the competition here is high, to say the least);
  • jurisprudence (lawyers will always be needed, given the lack of legal awareness of Russian citizens, again, competition does not allow everyone to reach heights);
  • in the field of management, there is still a shortage of qualified managers;
  • in the field of economic knowledge, accountants and competent economists will always be required.

However, considering the most promising professions, one should not forget about working specialties. If we compare the salaries of ordinary specialists and workers, say at the factory, the difference is not in favor of the former ...
