The beginning of the sports path
Grigory Panin was born in Karaganda on November 24, 1985. He got his first experience of playing on ice in the Togliy school of hockey. Hockey player began his playing career in his hometown as part of the Lada team. He played in it for 4 years, from 2004 to 2007.
In 2005, he took part in the world championship as part of the youth team. There he receives a silver medal. In the same year, at the Russian championship, he won silver medals.
Hockey career
Panin has been a member of Kazan Ak Bars since 2007. Speaking in the continental hockey league in the former club, in 2008-2009 Gregory receives the Gagarin Cup. In the next hockey season, he repeats his success, in 2008 he wins the Continental Cup.
In 2008-2009, the hockey player went on the ice in 45 matches. During the season, he managed to score two goals. However, he made ten assists, and also earned 18 penalty minutes.
In the next season of 2009-2010, Panin participated in fewer matches, but still scored 1 goal and made seven assists. True, the number of penalty minutes has increased significantly, to 65.
The most hockey player in the composition of “Ak Bars” played in 2011-2012. This season he spent 50 matches, made 11 assists and scored 1 goal. Throughout his career, he did not gain so many penalty minutes, namely 120, as in this season.
Least of all, Grigory Panin spent on the penalty box shop in the 2013-2014 season. Then he earned 31 minutes. This season, he took part in 26 matches, gaining 4 points. In the fall of 2013, the defender was disqualified for eleven matches for excessive rudeness against American player Matt Merley.
The game at CSKA
The 2014-2015 game season was discovered by Grigory Panin in the new club. CSKA invited him to play for their club, and now he is the defender of the team. Unfortunately, for 48 matches of the season, Gregory could not score a single goal, although he made ten assists. The number of penalty minutes earned reached 42.
In the KHL regular season 2016-2017 season, Panin again “reanimated”. He managed to score 4 goals in 32 matches. In the playoffs of 2017, namely in the final match, Grigory Panin excelled like never before. The hockey player violated the rules very grossly, having received two penalties for this before the end of the game and two more penalty minutes for rude behavior. And after the match with Lokomotiv, the KHL disciplinary committee was forced to disqualify the defender for 8 matches and impose an individual penalty.
Hockey player's personal life
Gregory married a second time, his first marriage was unsuccessful. The first wife of Gregory Panin, Regina, is known not only for her husband-athlete. In 2010, the court found her guilty of the death of two people. This story received a huge response and made the hockey player take a different look at his wife, and later dissolve the marriage.
In October 2009, Regina, while driving a car, drove into the oncoming lane on the Kazan-Tolyatti highway. An accident occurred in which the driver and passenger of the oncoming car died on the spot, and their minor daughter received severe injuries. Panina completely denied her guilt and did not feel regret for the girl left without parents. Regina’s influential father, thanks to connections, was able to “otmazat” daughter from justice.
Although Regina was found guilty and sentenced to three years in a penal colony, she is still at large. The fact of the birth of his son Mark during the investigation contributed to the postponement of the sentence for 14 years. Panin very rarely sees Mark's son, although he fully provides for both him and his ex-wife. Attempts to meet with his son are suppressed by the ex-wife, on her part more than once there were threats to the health of the athlete. The hockey player warns in his "Instagram" all those who contacted Regina, about the possible sad consequences. After all, the ex-wife has already managed to destroy the marriage of an athlete's colleague.
Now Gregory is in a happy marriage. The athlete’s second wife is Daria. Panin met her thanks to Alexander Radulov, another CSKA player. His wife and current wife Gregory are good friends. In 2015, the couple had a common son - Plato.
