PFC CSKA is a Russian army football club based in Moscow. Performs in the Russian Premier League. The club performs quite successfully, and the composition is currently one of the strongest in the country. CSKA has also been playing in the Europa League for a long time, sometimes in the Champions League. The history of the coat of arms of CSKA is quite interesting.
First emblem
The history of the football club dates back to 1910. It was then that the football section was organized at OLLS - the Society of Lovers of Skiing. Three teams were formed, and already at the end of August 1911 they took part in the Moscow championship. In the photo you see, in principle, the very first coat of arms of PFC CSKA - the ALLS emblem. It was specially invented, since the overall emblem of the club with a skier was complicated. A few years after the formation of the club, the Soviet government began to rule the country. She gave the order to disband all sports clubs and form the Vsevobuch experimental-demonstration site. And this company, in turn, was subordinate to the Red Army. As a result of this, the first change in the coat of arms of CSKA took place. It was then that brand colors appeared: red and blue. After that, the emblem changed more than once, but they became its basis.
Third coat of arms
The next transformation of the coat of arms of CSKA occurred in 1928. The Central House of the Red Army was opened. He was based in the capital of Russia. Due to the fact that it included a sports department, the team had to change its name to SK CDKA. In those days, this abbreviation was deciphered as a sports club of the Central House of the Red Army. The coat of arms of CSKA was also changed. Now it had six letters and a red star.
After World War II, the club changed its name again. Everyone knows that the Red Army was renamed the Soviet Army. Accordingly, one letter was replaced on the emblem of the club. The rest remains unchanged.
Fourth coat of arms
The next change occurred in 1957. The army of the country renamed the club in the CSK MO. The name is deciphered as the Central Sports Club of the Ministry of Defense. As usually happens when changing the name, the emblem of the football team has also changed.

The next changes occurred very quickly. Three years after the last name change, the club was renamed again, this time in CSKA. The changes also affected the emblem of the club. For the first time, a shield appeared on the coat of arms that adorns it now.

For a long period of time (almost 30 years), the emblem of the CSK practically did not change. There was a certain stability. Periodically, colors were changed on it, the wreaths were removed and returned. After the collapse of the USSR, the club removed the hammer and sickle from its coat of arms, and also built its name on it with a ladder - this was considered his signature technique. The next change occurred in 1998. Unfortunately for many fans, they removed the brand name of the club, located by a ladder. But the club management decided to add a soccer ball, which would mean that the club plays soccer. They did it so that even a person who is not versed in football could understand this. The coat of arms changed several times until 2008, but not much. Basically, the changes concerned a particular color and its degree of saturation.

This event took place in 2008. This decision was made by the head of the club. The emblem has changed a lot. Removed the ball. Added red and blue stripes. It was also decided to add the year the club was founded and its name - PFC CSKA. The abbreviation is deciphered as follows: Professional football club "Central Army Sports Club".
These changes have undergone the emblem of the main army club of the Russian Federation. Incidentally, at the moment, the emblem of PFC CSKA is in the top 10 best emblems of football clubs in the world. Perhaps CSKA deserved it.
