Varazdat Aroyan is an Armenian professional footballer playing as a central defender in the Russian club “Ural” and the national team of Armenia. Previously, he played for clubs such as Patani, Pyunik (both from Armenia) and Padide (Iran). Born on August 24 in 1992 in Yerevan, Armenia. From the age of seven he began to play football. It all started in the yard “boxes”, where almost all the guys from the district gathered and chased the ball from morning till night. Soon Varazdat enters the local football section and begins to learn the world of intensive training and learning technology. Varazdat Aroyan is a pupil of the Pyunik football academy. In 2008, he played for the Patani club as part of the youth team until the age of 17. Here he spent only one season, playing in seventeen matches and distinguishing himself in two goals.
Career at Pyunik Football Club (Yerevan)
In 2009, he transferred to his native club Pyunik, where he often left in the starting lineup. The debut took place in the match against Gandzasar (the city of Kapan). Varazdat Aroyan entered the field in the 90th minute, replacing teammate Arthur Edigaryan. The debut season for Yerevan “Pyunik” turned out to be successful - the team reached the “gold” in the championship of Armenia.
