Undertaker, Pushkin: a summary of the story

Prokhorov Adriyan finally realized his dream and moved to a long-liked house from Basmannaya Street to Nikitskaya. But the novelty a little scares the man, and he does not feel much joy from moving. Prokhorov was so worried about the loss of earnings and became angry with his new acquaintances that he had a strange and somewhat terrible dream. A man woke up in the morning and, according to the worker’s stories, realized that Tryukhina was not dying, and that he had been sleeping all the time after returning from a shoemaker. After that, the undertaker sighed with relief and ordered the samovar to be placed.
