On the Internet, newspapers, and employment magazines, one can often find an ad: “Work for students: a poster. The schedule is free. ” At first glance, the work seems simple and attractive. Walking around the area for yourself, posting announcements. But ... Few people know that these workers are most often left without a salary. Because they don’t know: even such a simple position has instructions. Not all employers report them to students. And then for non-fulfillment of duties they will be fined. Or, if the employer is not cheating, the police can punish them for posting leaflets in the wrong places. In order for the job “posting ads” to bring at least a small income, employment must be approached very seriously.
Job description
It’s easy to find job posters. It’s more difficult to get it right. Even a temporary employee, employers should familiarize themselves with the instruction that defines the main points of his work.
The applicant is obliged to know: only the
head of a department or
department has the right to hire a stickman. The sticking man submits to him. He should implement the recommendations of other, lower-ranking leaders only if they do not contradict the instructions of the immediate superior. The job of “posting ads” implies the necessary knowledge:
- Location of billboards, routes between them.
- Rules for posting ads.
- Terms of payment for their labor.
- Own rights and obligations.
If employers at least somehow introduce applicants to the latter, they rarely speak about the rules of sticking-up. And they exist.

- One of the articles of the Administrative Code directly indicates: for placement in the wrong places, a fine of up to 2500 rubles is due, which can be increased by local legislation. The Law on Advertising says the same thing. This means that the job of “posting advertisements” requires an accurate knowledge of the places where leaflets are not prohibited.
- Some cities have their own laws on advertising, which are not prevented from becoming familiar with before embarking. The job of “posting ads” is not as simple as it seems at first.
There is one more subtlety. If you place the leaflets only in the proper places, then there will be no response to them. Therefore, experienced stickers recommend placing them on the walls of houses, access doors, poles, display cases. But ... This is, firstly, contrary to the Law. Secondly, such a stickman can simply be beaten by local residents. Conclusion: the job of “posting ads” requires ingenuity and ability to make decisions quickly. This is simply necessary, because the standard instructions very clearly indicate that it is the sticker who is personally responsible for:
- violation of the provisions that determine the functioning of the enterprise;
- improper performance of their duties (for example, violation of the law);
- material damage caused (in particular, they may be forced to paint at their own expense the wall on which he stuck an ad).
