Lucas Moura was born on August 13, 1992 in Brazil, where he began to get involved in football. At the age of six, he enrolled in the Marcelinho Carioca Football School, from where the next year he entered the Santa Maria Club football academy from São Paulo. There, the boy spent another year, finding himself at the academy of the Juventus club, based in the same city.
In 2002, the Corinthians junior scouts looked after the guy and invited him to the system of one of the strongest clubs in Brazil. He spent three years there, after which he moved to the academy of the São Paulo club, with which he entered into a professional contract in 2010, when he was eighteen years old. Lucas Moura was not immediately considered a brilliant talent - it took some time before everyone could see what he was capable of.
The game for São Paulo
In the Brazilian club in his first season, Lucas Moura, a football player who at that time was not known to anyone and was nothing special, spent 25 matches, scoring four goals. His performances began to attract the attention of scouts, and he himself demonstrated simply incredible abilities. In the second season, the athlete has already played 43 matches and scored 13 goals. By the time the third season of Lucas began, absolutely everyone knew about him, and the leading clubs in the world began to hunt for him. As a result, in 2013, the winger played 60 matches, scoring 16 goals in them, and became a tidbit for all the leading clubs in the world.
Transition to PSG
As a result, Lucas chose the French PSG, which paid the Brazilian club an incredible amount of 40 million euros. Lucas entered the top three most valuable players of that year: two compatriots Hulk and Tiago Silva were ahead of him (the latter, by the way, also switched to PSG). Naturally, the player took some time to adapt: at the end of the 12/13 season, he played in 15 matches without scoring a single goal. But next year he became a regular base player, having entered the field in 52 matches and scored 5 goals.
Over the next two years, PSG midfielder Lucas Moura spent 100 matches in which he scored 21 goals. And in each of these seasons, he, together with the Paris club, became the Champion of France, and also won two French Cups and three League Cups. This season, after the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Cavani moved to the position of the center forward, and Lucas took his place, becoming a key player in the attack. Lucas was called up to the Brazilian team long before he moved to Europe, in 2011, when he was only 19 years old. He made his debut in a friendly match against Scotland in March 2011. After three friendly games, the 19-year-old football player entered the application for the America's Cup 2011, where he came on as a substitute in all four matches.
Moura scored his first goal in a friendly match against Argentina in September of that year. He was also called to the Confederations Cup in 2013, but only entered two substitution matches. World Championship 2014 and America's Cup 2015 Lucas missed. His last match for the national team took place in June 2016 in the framework of the Central America Cup, where the athlete came on as a substitute in the match against the national team of Ecuador.
