Then the huckster was called the person who was engaged in the purchase of stolen things. Sometimes they became thieves who did not want to put themselves in danger of being in prison. Most often, the huckster gave the robbers a tip to one or another object, and he calmly watched aside what was happening. In the Soviet Union, so-called speculators who bought various things from customers with high wrap. In most cases, not one person was involved in this business, but a whole group. The well-known Russian writer Vladimir Dal gave a clear and precise definition to who the huckster is in his dictionary:
Huckster is a person who is engaged in speculation.
Nowadays, this is more and more called people who are involved in the distribution of drugs. Starting from weed and ending with heavier substances, such as heroin, and speculating on this. That's who the huckster is. It’s better not to mess with such people.

Hucksters are not respected in prison or in the wild. In order to "cut down" more money, they will not stop at nothing. Hucksters sell drugs not only to adults, but also to adolescents, gradually planting them on this poison. They do it consciously, realizing that this will lead to grave consequences.
