Responsibilities of the manager in the organization

Each more or less large enterprise has a manager. However, there are several varieties of such employees. Sometimes the responsibilities of the manager seem vague, and not everyone knows what this person is doing. Someone might think that such an employee is designed to engage in sales of goods or advertising. However, it is the responsibility of the advertising manager, and only him. A manager is not a seller, although he must be able to sell. But its functions are much wider and more complex. Therefore, really good specialists in this category are very appreciated.

In order to become a good manager-manager, you need not only higher education, but also a number of specific qualities. But there is also a personnel manager, procurement manager and other specialties. The procurement manager has completely different responsibilities. Today, managers are generally perceived in several ways. First of all, it is a leader. Such a person should motivate employees. He is a kind of inspirer, one of the "helmsman" organizations for which he works. He must be devoted to the company, know its mission and see the development prospects. However, there are few leaders among such professionals.

Most often, the responsibilities of a manager in an organization are limited to management. It is this function that was originally laid in the position. The manager seeks goals and develops plans. Of course, he knows about the mission of the company and purposefully carries out it. However, many managers lack critical leadership qualities . This is due to the lack of charisma among managers, as well as the reluctance to take on excess responsibility. Where human relationships are needed, many specialists are limited to dry official authority.

Therefore, often in a team manager and leader are different people. The manager’s responsibilities also depend on the department in which he works. For example, the HR manager deals primarily with human resources. He is often called an HR manager. In our country, this profession was once called the personnel inspector. However, the responsibilities of the HR manager are wider. He is engaged not only in the selection of personnel necessary for the company, but also in monitoring the labor market.

Often, such specialists collaborate with recruitment agencies and employment centers. They establish what the situation is in the labor market, and are also interested in the average wages of workers. In addition, the duties of a manager of this type include retraining of employees. Advertising Manager is engaged in a slightly different activity. He forms an advertising strategy, organizes events in order to notify consumers about the quality of the goods. He also contacts various advertising companies. The duties of an advertising manager are very broad, this specialist belongs to the category of managers.

Unlike the advertising manager, the purchasing manager belongs to the category of employees. The responsibilities of the procurement manager include finding suppliers, procurement planning, working with clients. He accepts orders from customers, and places orders with suppliers of products. When choosing a manager’s profession, we must remember that this is a very responsible position. Some of these specialists are liable for their decisions. Even an ordinary manager should be able to see the prospect. Indeed, the effectiveness of the entire team of specialists depends on the decisions of the manager. Errors of this person are visible to the naked eye. With poor work of the team, there will always be demand from the person who managed the department of the company. Therefore, choosing a profession, one must also take into account personal qualities.
