Rozhok Sergey was born on April 25, 1985 in the village of Repki, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. From an early age he began to get involved in football, and at the age of thirteen he went through viewing at the sports school at the Slavutich club. He spent only two years there, because already in 2000, he was watched by representatives of Dynamo Kyiv, the strongest club in Ukraine. Until 2003, he played for the youth squads of the club of various age categories, after which he signed a professional contract with Dynamo. However, at that time it was already obvious that the player does not have the level and potential that is necessary for playing for such a club. Therefore, until 2005, when the player’s contract with the club expired, Sergei Rozhok played for the double, having spent 36 matches in total and scored 10 goals.

Horn Sergei is a football player who spent the first half of his career in his homeland, that is, in Ukraine. In the winter of 2005, he moved from the double of Dynamo Kiev to Tavria, but he could not win a place there, he entered the field only once and in the summer left the club to join Transcarpathia. He spent another six months there, playing 10 matches, but in the winter of 2006 he again set about searching for a new club.

He signed a contract with CSKA Kiev, for which he played the whole year, having appeared on the field 32 times and even having marked four goals. In the winter of 2007, Horn moved to Kharkov, but did not stay there for long. After half the season and only seven matches at the base, he returned to CSKA, where he spent another half of the season. Again in this club he succeeded much more than in the rest: he played 17 matches, but this time he did not distinguish himself with a large number of goal actions.

In January 2008, a 23-year-old player, who had already changed five clubs at that time, moved to Desna - and again could not stay there. He spent only two matches before concluding a contract with Obolon - it was in this club that he settled for two whole seasons. During this time, the midfielder appeared on the field 38 times and scored eight goals.

In the summer of 2010, Rozhok moved to Krivbass, where he spent one season and appeared on the field 20 times. A year later, he moved to Chernomorets, but again was in the background and in six months he played in only one match. And only 2012 brought serious changes in the career of a football player - Sergei Rozhok, whose biography focused only on the Ukrainian League, signed a contract with the Belarusian club Minsk.

Belarusian period

In the winter of 2012, Sergei Rozhok, whose photographs so far appeared only in Ukrainian sports publications, became a Minsk player, where he stayed for two whole years. During this time, he played 51 matches and scored 4 goals.

In the winter of 2014, the footballer decided to return to his homeland, having moved to Kirovograd's “Star”, but this experience was unsuccessful. For ten months in the club, he entered the field only 14 times. Then Sergey realized that he was better off playing in Belarus, so in October 2014 he signed a contract with the Bobruisk Belshina. For more than a year and a half, Rozhok played for Belshina, played 24 matches for her and scored eight goals - this was his best indicator since Obolon’s time, but in 2008-2010 he scored so many goals not in 24 but in 38 matches.

In the summer of 2016, the contract of an experienced midfielder came to an end, and he moved to the Grodno Neman. There he spent only six months, entered the field in ten matches, after which he moved to FC Vitebsk. However, the Belarusian championship has its own schedule, different from most European championships. It starts in April, so today Rozhok has not yet played a single official match for his new club. His contract is calculated until the end of 2017.

Team appearances

Sergei Rozhok has never been called up to the Ukrainian national team, however, he spent a lot of time in the youth national teams of the country, speaking at various age levels. In January 2000, he was called up to the national team until the age of 16, for which he spent five matches. After a year and a half, he was invited to the national team until the age of 17, and there he played three more matches. After some time, Rozhok was in the application of the Ukrainian national team until the age of 21 - it was 2003, and from that moment he played 13 matches in the team, marking two goals. However, as already mentioned, in the main team he did not receive an invitation for his career.

Achievements

As you might have guessed, Sergey’s career was not rich in trophies, since he did not play for particularly strong teams. The first major achievement that he could boast of was second place in the Second League of Ukraine in 2009, when he played for Obolon. And he got the first and only trophy when he played for Minsk, - in 2013 the team was able to win the Belarus Cup.
