Stages of the football path
The game professional career of a pupil of Irkutsk football began in 2003 as part of the local Zvezda team, the club of the second Russian division. For two seasons, Andrei Yeshchenko held 47 meetings, in which he scored 3 goals. At a youth tournament held in the city of Saransk, a young player was noticed by scouts of the Khimki club located near Moscow, the team of the first division of the Russian championship.
In the club near Moscow, Andrei Yeshchenko is the main player. He played 34 matches, scored 3 goals, took part in the final match of the Russian Cup against the CSKA team, made his debut in the youth team of Russia. But Khimki itself, taking only the fourth place in the championship, did not make it to the Russian Premier League. The club’s coaching staff resigned, and Andrei Yeshchenko, in the spring of 2006, signed a five-year contract with the Dynamo Kiev team.
In the first season, as part of the Kiev club, he wins the silver medals of the Ukrainian Championship and the Cup of the country.

At the beginning of 2012, having spent half a season in the Nizhny Novgorod Volga (12 matches), Andrei Yeshchenko moved to the Lokomotiv club in Moscow. The season spent in the team can be considered quite successful. He played 24 games in the championship, spent his first matches with the Russian national team, and became a member of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil (2 games).
In the spring of 2013, Andrei Yeshchenko concludes a contract with the Anji team for three years. But a serious injury (rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the knee) intervened in the future career of a football player. Having played 33 matches for the Nizhny Novgorod club, on June 1, 2014, the player went on lease to the Kuban team.
