Career
Alexey Berezutsky was born on June 20, 1982 in the capital. He received his first professional skills at the Smena football school. Vladimir Ivanovich Lopandin was the player’s mentor. The first professional club for Alexei was Torpedo-ZIL. He began to play for him at the age of seventeen. The coach entrusted him and his brother with a defensive position.
In 2001, the player was leased to a football club from Novorossiysk - Chornomorets. In one of the friendly matches against the CSKA youth squad, the player was noticed by Valery Gazaev, who trained “army men” at that time. The game of the football player impressed Gazaev, and he invited him to the capital's club. Over the next season, the player tried to gain a foothold in the main team, and he succeeded. Alexei Berezutsky was able to oust Denis Evsikov from the left edge of the defensive line. Thanks to all his achievements, Alexey made a call to the national team, where until today he is considered a valuable player.
CSKA
For the “army” Alex Berezutsky made his debut in May 2002 against the capital “Torpedo”. One of the best seasons in the career of a football player can be considered the 2007-2008 season. Participating in the UEFA Cup winning for CSKA, Berezutsky demonstrated his best qualities and helped his team win. With this game, the footballer showed many critics that he is one of the country's best defenders. In the same season, the player spent twenty-four games, from the first to the last minute, laying out on the field to the maximum. In March of the same season, in the game for the national team against Romania, Alexei Berezutsky came out as captain.

Alex is married. His wife's name is Jamila. The couple has two children: daughter Alena and son. They live on Rublevka. Very close with his brother and his family, who also live nearby.

As already mentioned, the football player Alexei Berezutsky is not alone in the family. Twin brothers Alexey and Vasily are similar in many ways, even according to the horoscope they are twins. Alexey is twenty minutes older. Fixed in the “army”, by the way, he is also faster. In general, the brothers' career was developing quite differently.
When Alex was fifteen years old (he then trained at the torpedo school), he earned the first fifty dollars. At that moment, he realized that football is the future profession. Alexei did very well from the very beginning of his career. The player was able to immediately fit into the basis of the club “Torpedo-ZIL”, instantly slipping the reserve squad. The football player began training with the main team a year and a half before the end of training.
When the offer came from Chernomorets, Alexei did not have to think long. He understood that in a team from Novorossiysk he was more likely to exit in the main team. In addition, the financial conditions were pretty good. During the game for “Chernomorets” Alexey first played against his brother Vasily (“Torpedo-ZIL”). They were on opposite flanks of defense: Alexei on the left, and Vasily on the right. When Chernomorets filed the corner, Vasily took custody of his brother in the penalty area.
When Alexei signed a contract with the “army team”, he knew that soon his brother would also join the team. Hints that Berezutsky is interested in CSKA came constantly, but the football player did not pay attention to them. Soon, the leadership of the capital's club got in touch. The only question that arose was: "Does Alex want to play for CSKA?" He agreed and was soon called to sign the contract.
Aleksei Berezutsky can be called one of the best defense players both in the Moscow CSKA and in the national team. Despite the fact that the player is not very young, he still does not stop showing an excellent game.
