The result depends on compliance with certain rules:

  1. Clean and dry the items. If the shirt is dry, it can be sprayed with a spray bottle. This will make it easier to smooth wrinkles and dents.
  2. Then you need to look at the product label to find out the recommended temperature of the iron.
  3. When the iron heats up, you can start ironing. First, iron the back, shoulders and front of the shirt. The sleeves need to proceed last.
  4. If the main parts of the shirt are ironed, you can use a mini-board. The sleeve of the shirt must be pulled onto the device so that the fabric is evenly distributed over the surface. At the same time, it is important to ensure that the ironed places do not wrinkle.

  • pull the sleeve along the board and spread it with your hands;
  • iron the cuffs in all places and corners so that there are no wrinkles;
  • continue to iron the sleeve in the longitudinal direction from the inside, that is, from the seam;
  • turn the sleeve over and continue ironing in the same direction;
  • when one sleeve is already ironed, proceed to the other.

First you need to make a pattern of the future cover. To do this, take measurements of the board and make a cover pattern. Or you can attach fabric to the prepared board and cut it around the edges, leaving 5-6 cm of indentation. Similarly, cut foam rubber or synthetic winterizer with a margin of 2-3 cm.

It is advisable to flash the cover on the typewriter to get smooth seams. The edges of the fabric can be treated with an overlock.
