The concept of "growth" outlines only a quantitative, external aspect of the manifestation of the category "development". The experience of domestic enterprises in recent years indicates precisely the presence of economic growth and the absence of qualitative changes characteristic of development. Now it is necessary to coordinate these two processes with each other and use them to increase the functioning and competitiveness of enterprises, because, as experts say, all the extensive ways of presenting business entities have been exhausted. We found ourselves at the limit that separates the economic mechanism of the industrial era from the economic mechanism of post-industrialism. And it depends only on us whether we can move from a place to a world filled with new perspectives, or stay on the wreckage of a morally and physically obsolete mode of production as a raw material appendage of global leader countries.

In order to positively solve the problem of promoting our state at the enterprise level, we need to turn them into microcivilizations - human-centered social formations that combine the fulfillment of economic and cultural functions in order to ensure economic development and growth, release the personality, diversity of forms and complicate the environment of existence, increase individual and collective fullness of being. In the end, the leaders of domestic enterprises should reflect on the questions: can their company give a specific person and the public more than just products, salaries, or other economic benefits? Is it able to generate development and growth processes? Should it be considered effective, competitive in the context of civilizational changes of a global nature? The positive answers received to these questions will indicate a radical change for the better in society.
