Anton Alekseev: goalkeeper biography

Possessing magnificent natural sports data, Anton Alekseev since childhood dreamed of becoming a great goalkeeper. At first, fate smiled at the young man, because he got into the legendary Moscow “Spartak”. But subsequent events were not so rosy ...

Goalkeeper by nature

The future goalkeeper Anton Sergeyevich Alekseev was born on March 31, 1984 in Kharkov. From an early age, Anton was fond of football and chased the ball in the yard all day, but he quickly outgrew the level of friends and was frankly bored. Fortunately, children's trainers soon drew attention to the lanky kid, and the boy became a pupil of the Kharkiv Arsenal Sports School.

Anton always stood out among his peers with powerful physical data and high growth. Therefore, it is not surprising that the coaches found the highest player on the team a new position - at the gate. At first, Anton took it without much enthusiasm: everyone knows that in childhood it is much more interesting to run around the field and score goals. However, Alekseev gradually got involved and learned to get real pleasure from a new job.

After a couple of years, the young football player Anton Alekseev realized that now he could not even be kicked out of the goal even by force.

A dream that has not come true to the end

At the age of 18, Alekseev’s dream of a top club came true - a promising goalkeeper was noticed in Spartak Moscow. In 2002, Anton began to defend the gates of the red-white double. He did it pretty well - in the 2002 season he spent 11 matches and conceded 13 goals, which on average is a little more than a goal per game.

In 2003, the 19-year-old goalkeeper got the opportunity to play for the main team. The legendary Oleg Romantsev released Alekseev to the Premier League match. Anton played reliably, but there were no new offers to play for the main team. Alekseev continued to defend the double goal, and in 2003 spent 14 matches, conceiving 20 goals.

Games of 2003 ended for Spartak with a resounding failure and a change of coach. Before the young goalkeeper in this situation, nobody cared. Anton Alekseev quickly understood this and moved to the Ocean club (Nakhodka). Yes, the team is not very status, but at 20 years old you need to play, and not sit on the bench.

Minor wanderings

In Nakhodka, the Kharkov citizen spent two seasons, but he did not become “his” in the team. During these two years, the coaches allowed Alekseev to play in only 23 matches. Therefore, the goalkeeper was very happy to accept the transition to the Khabarovsk SKA-Energy team that followed in 2007. As it turned out, in vain - here he was also taken on the role of understudy, for the whole championship Anton Alekseev did not spend a dozen matches.

Still placing game practice in the first place, Alekseev decided to go down again and began the 2008 season in the Volgograd “Olympia”, which performed in the PFL. The result was not bad: Alekseev defended the goal in 14 matches, in which he conceded 16 goals.

The next year he moved to the promising Mashuk, and then made a big mistake ... The trainers of the Krasnodar team, in which the main goalkeeper Perov was injured, suddenly drew attention to the 23-year-old goalkeeper. Anton Alekseev threw everything and went to the “bulls”, but he did not have a chance to break into the main team. As a result - another hopeless sitting on the bench without the slightest chance of anything more.

Since 2011, goalkeeper Anton Alekseev has defended the colors of the Biolog-Novokubansk club.
